I have been using home delivery from Vons-Safeway online home shopping for 2 years. Most orders have some problems but the customer service representatives one has to deal with are absolutely HORRIBLE. I went to the Silver Hill Road Mcdonalds in Suitland yesterday evening to purchase dinner. The service was very poor. There when two cashier at their cashier that had people in line waiting for them to take there order. I paid on my credit card the amount of $500.73 for the outstanding amount due to RCN company for cable/phone and computer services. Payment was made April 4th. When I got my credit card bill the name on the payment was to ACTION COMMUNICATIONS BEACHWOOD OH. I suspect this is the collection agency for RCN. We had Greystone come do our patio which turned out fine. The problem was when a minor issue came up with the completion of the job I my calls were not returned for a month. When I finally called back for the 4th time I spoke to an employee who was very rude and dismissive and said I had only called to "tear her a new one" this was just silly as I had not been rude or discourteous. I purchased a Franklin Recliner Sofa from Gardner-White Furniture which came with a manufacturing defect seam in the middle cushion as well as a tear in the top cushion. Because I did not notice these items within 48 hours of delivery Gardner-White refuses to replace them or fix them under warranty so lucky me I get to pay full price for bargain basement furniture.
