Today, 25 April 2009, I went to Smartstyle's Wetumpka location to return or exchange a set of products purchased by my cousin for me. I supposedly ordered a free sample of their product for a shipping and handling charge of $3.95. However, a few days ago, they withdrew $87.13 from my checking account without my authorization. I called them, and they said I had signed up for a membership, which I was not aware of. I have called them and informed them I do not want their product and want the $87.13 credited to my card. I set up shipping a camera from CT to my daughter in Vancouver BC Can with our local Post Office. While watching the tracking, the camera made the 70 miles to JFK Airport and was promply stolen BY USPS PERSONNEL! No one really cared at USPS (like it happens on a regular basis). I took out, and paid for an online insurance policy with this company for my daughter and myself. On inspection of the policy when it arrived, i noticed that they had got my date of birth wrong. When i phoned up to explain they told me that my daughter was NOT covered! and tried to blame the online process for allowing the transaction going through. I agreed with Proline to have them build an outside riding manage in middle of last year. They agreed to commence work prior to Christmas and never turned up.
