Based on a showroom sofa, we ordered two leather sofas from Palliser. When they arrived they barely resembled the one in the showroom. All the leather seams (which are sewn in Mexico) of this supposedly Canadian made sofa were gathered, puckered, wrinkled so badly that the sofas looked cheap and hastily made. The showroom sofas in two different stores did not look like these at all. The retailer agreed that the sofas demonstrated poor workmanship. I receive about 3 - 4 mails a day explaining how I have won over $2000 and will get a free wallet or TV if I just pay the release fee of either $14 or $31, the mails are different for the same freelotto draw. I arranged to take on a 2nd mortgage of $30, 000. We were to pay about $5000 upfront as set up fees ( which came out of the mortgage ) and then 22%. That was just fine and we had calculated for this. What we had not calculated for but was there in the fine print was that there may be a delay in the getting the money depending on the supply of money and if there was it would be only a few days. I filed a dispute concerning non-receipt of an item I had ordered. Apparently this gives Green Dot the right to hold my current balance of funds and my direct deposit amounts (totalling approximately $3000). WHAT!!! We were supposed to receive a free wood display case/chest after we paid for 6 minerals. We paid the expensive prices for the minerals thinking the case would make up for it. I am and have been in the medical billing industry for the past 26 years. I contacted and signed up with this country after hearing their ad on the radio. The rep was a crook and never returned my our after we had signed up. The policy hardly covered any of the benefits it claimed it would, etc. In one sentence: This company is a fraud. I work for this company that manufactors and ships car products for Hyundai. Koreans run this place and treat workers like slaves. They cut the number of workers in half and doubled the amount of production required, expecting one worker to work on two machines in injection. In glass, the assembler does not have a relief to take her place during breaks and they are required to keep the machine running, so when the assembler returns, there is a great deal of work to get down. I recently paid $89 for bankruptcy filing software from Gurarnteedbankruptcy.com. It didn't take long to discover the software is pure junk and I immediately tried to secure a refund. The GBS website of course prominently displays the reassurance of a full money-back guarantee but that is just a deception.
