Bad Business Practices
I am the battered consumer. I trusted proflowers to help me brighten my 82 year old elderly grandmothers day. I placed my order for a traditional mothers day bouquet on May 3rd, 2009. I put in my Bank of America credit/debit card number and received a message that the request could not me processed and to try again later. Proflowers then charged my credit/debit $56.85. I called customer service the next day and was told by Doug that they could not find my order and would be called back within 24/48 business hours. I spoke to a supervisor named Reggie, and he personally assured me he would handle the situation before 24 hours and call me back. No one has returned my call. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and will contact my state attorney general if this matter is not handled. Please do not make the same mistake I did and trust this company to do anything. $56.85 may not seem like a lot of money, but when you're homeless, and in a recession, it is. My grandmother is ill and I'm on the other side of the country and do not have the money to go to her. All I wanted to do was send her something to show her how much I love and appreciate her, and now I won't be able to. Take it from me and just think twice before using Proflowers. I just only wish someone had warned me
