Circuit City (OXNARD, CA) had advertised a View Sonic 17" flat screen computer monitor at $229 with a $50 rebate so thought it was worth a look. Got to the store and to my delight the placard in the store advised there was a $100 rebate. After double checking with the sales associate that there was indeed a $100 rebate i bought the monitor for $129 +tax. I was given 2 rebate forms to submit to Viewsonic and did so the next day. I purchased a Boscov's front load washing machine for $650 and a warranty for $150. It's been broken for three weeks. The repair man came to fix it (again) today and didn't have the correct part (again). My washer will likely be broken for 4 weeks- if they do get it fixed next time. Very disappointing! PerfectMatch.com service is very unsatisfactory. After several emails regarding to complaints about the service, with none satisfactorily resolved, I tried to cancel my account and refund my money, which they didn't address in any of their response emails. When I was charged again for another month, and contacted them yet again, they refused to refund my money. Tri-State Alarm Company uses deception and fine print to lock its customers into automatically renewing lengthy contracts. The company didn't advise us that our contract would automatically renew for another 3 years after the original 3 year period. The sales person told us it would convert to a month-to-month basis after the first 3 years. Earlier this year I returned a Jeraco truck cap to my local dealer, Just For Trucks of Malta, New York located near Sara toga Springs. The cap was returned because of a serious factory manufacturing defect. The dealer, Just For Trucks, gave me written assurance that the cap was being accepted for return to the factory for a "full refund." Just has the control box on the refrigerator (model FR523W3AW5) replaced. From speaking to the repairman this is a very common problem. The repair man said they have has this problem since the model came off the assembly line. The cost was $114.90 plus $75 service charge. I would appreciate if Frigidaire would split the cost with me. I ordered a log splitter from them on 1/19/06. I ordered their highest rated product for I wanted the most powerful splitter I could find that would work off standard 120 volts A/C power. I bought 2 phones from Wirefly through the internet also. I bought them in July 2005, kept all records, paid bills on time for their 6 month period. Followed all their rules, and sent everything when I was supposed too. They even said I was approved for the rebate after I waited for a few months and e-mailed them again. I had a Bell Expressvu satellite system instaelled in 2000. I had no problem with them until after I transferred to a new location in August of 2002. During August 2002 I advised Bell Expressvu I was being transferred and would not be re-activating the system with them until sometime in the spring or early summer of 2003 due to finding a new residence. WIthin a month its CD-ROM stopped functioning and I had to wait for more than 2 months for its replacement. Recently I closed an account with MBNA Visa because they would not lower my interest rate. I had received a 6% apr when I went to the war, but as soon as I was discharged, they raised it to 23.99%!!!! I was NEVER late or delinquent on that account. They gladly took my order of over 7000 dollars and said the furniture would come in six weeks and twelve would be the longest.
