MBNA's FLOATING DUE DATE has one purpose, and one purpose only. Catch even the most diligent payees with usary late fees! I have been an MBNA MasterCard holder for over 20 years. I have found a discrepancy between my credit available and the actual amount of money that I spent for the last days. I immediately called my bank, and they told me that 5 (five) unauthorized charges of $125 were put on my credit card. The name of the company was MFI/My Family. I canceled my credit card, and the bank will conduct their investigation. AIG stated that my husband filled out a credit card form for me with HSBC to receive a Master card. Today I received a call at work from HSBC for late payment. Once I inquired about it there were charges from AIG (HSBC's insurance provider). This appears to be a SCAM. I am involved in a battle with the Maytag Corporation. It has taken place for almost three years. My washer was under warranty, and it is faulty. Maytag has not honored their written warranty. I had signed up with HindiFlix for a 14 day trial period of DVD rental on 8/29/2006. I canceled the service before the trial period ended on 9/11/2006. They still charged me $19.95 indicating that my trial period had ended on 9/10/2006. I am not sure how they got to that date. They not only charged me once but twice. I bought a Dell Inspiron in 2003. Over the years, about every eight to nine months, the computer would overheat and randomly shut down. I would lose information. In August 2006, I checked on-line for DSL availability through Earthlink to replace my existing SNET/Yahoo DSL. Their system stated DSL was available, so I signed up. Shortly thereafter, I received an email back stating that they could not supply me DSL. I was very surprised, but figured this was the end of it. The problem started last week. I have high speed internet and a dedicated ip address. I called them twice last week and was on the phone for what seemed like hours. I made arrangements for this service in August 2006. I was told due to a promotion the 100.00 installation fee would not be required. On August 13, a Sunday, the installer arrived. My wife tried to cash a $22.00 check at Albertsons Grocery store and the check was declined. Our beautiful 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan suffered a complete air conditioning system failure at 60,000 miles, then a transmission failure at 64,000 miles. My son and daughter-in-law contracted with Victory M&S out of Brooklyn,NY (same co. as All Victory) The move was from Boston to Seattle. Early this week I was reviewing my very busy monthly Visa card statement. I noticed charges from Hollywood Video that I did not recognize. We purchased three pieces of granite and one cabinet all full price. The cabinet was installed with a dent in the side. We purchased a new cabinet (not a second hand cabinet). We also requested a cap to go on the side of the cabinet (this would cover the dent). However, Zabi stated he would not install the in cap. He also stated that he could not meet our standards. In June of 2005. My fiancee and i purchased a Shar-pei from the Rutherfords. After spending $950 dollars on the dog, we have since learned about all of her genetic deffects. Today we recieved the worst news, a tumor, yet to be determined as to if it is malignant or not. this is just the last of several problems, umbilical hernia, shar-pei fever, tacking of eyes surgery, dislocating knees. nearly $4,000 later in vet bills here we are. I just relocated across country. Items were packed with bubble wrap and pop corn, wadded paper and other protective materials. The objects were put in rental truck. We did check our RCI confirmation letter and it stated it was for a 1 bedroom with two sofas. When we arrived the rooms did not have this accomadation or at least they stated that they did not have it available. That is when the clerk offered the extra room at no charge.
