We contracted John Dube to paint our house. He guaranteed his work for 5 yrs., and told us he was fully insured (we have this in writing). After painting our house, then have it peel off a few months later, we contacted him. He did a "patch" job, but it again did not take. He told us he had never painted a house built with mahogany wood before, and would not be able to come back, because he would lose money painting our house again. I am very concerned about consumer abuse in the self storage postings. I see 3 kinds of problems. 1) people are sold insurance but they do not get a copy of their policy. So when there is a claim they discover it is not covered. the companies need to be required to give them the policy when they sell it. 2) late fees, access codes are changed so that people are immediately leveraged into paying up, and paying late fees. this would be the equivalent of walking out to your care and finding it disabled by a Denver Boot when late for a payment... read full review »

I ordered a sleigh bed from Ashley furniture in April to be delivered April 30, 2006. My furniture was not only delayed but it was scratched/busted where the delivery man and he was afraid to admit the truth. He dropped the headboard but never let me know he continued to make me think my furniture was on the way. At 7:00 pm is when I called the warehouse and the manager informed me the headboard was busted and it needed to be reordered. 4 days later my furniture was finally delivered.

I initially received a cell phone offer from BCS/ATT Wireless several years ago and began service in July 6th 2003. I have since kept service with ATT until their merger with Cingular at which time I upgraded my plan and phone on November 11th, 2004. I am now getting calls at my workplace from a collection agency stating I have a past due balance of $150 due to early termination of service.
I have contacted ATT and they show zero past due balance or any amount written off due non-payment.

We ordered an emergency passport for my husband on the website above. The emergency passport is a passport which you are supposed to get in 24 hours. We shipped it overnight on the 2nd of October. We shipped it with Fedex as to the company policy of American Passport Express.

I have had nothing but problems with Three Rivers Gold Plating of Fort Wayne, Indiana. This was suppose to be a fast job, well it's been 2 1/2 months and lost parts. I was quoted one price of a total of $210 and then 1 1/2 months later Tom said he needed another $75. I was told it wouldn't be more then $210 that was tops. I bought a Maytag Neptune MAH7500AWW and matching gas dryer 4 years ago. Previous to that I owned a Maytag top loader and matching electric dryer for 25 years. The old machine was being retired for better washing technology (front loader, etc.), and it's a good thing I kept the old machine!

I purchased a DCS 5 burner stove top range 3 years ago. A few months after I bought it the center burner stopped functioning properly. I have tried to have it repaired for over two years but no one has been able to fix it. My wife and I signed up with them 2 years ago. We are moving to a new home 1 mile away. Their rep assessed our new house already equipped with a good alarm system and proceeded to assess us a new activation for $200 and also for every single window that are already wired, and charge us for a new box.
