I purchased furniture from Wendy on Craigslist. She claimed the dining set was *NEW* and assured me that it was in excellent condition. Upon paying her $500 cash for the set I took it home and set it up. For the second year in a row I bought Norton Internet Security and sent in the two rebates, both for $30. I received one rebate with no problem but as the year before received a post card stating that I had not sent all the information and was late in submitting. Knowing I meticulously followed detail in submitting the rebate, I wrote and asked them to send a copy of my envelope with mailing date and its contents. Of course I never heard from them again and feel that two times is a sure indication that (1) we are being scammed and (2) not to use them again. The commercial for this item on the menu is very offensive to women. As a female i feel as though it is not fair to say that by eating this burger it will make you more of a man. I sent my friend $180.00. He lives in Brazil and after waiting for the check for 2 months, he finally received it only to learn that he could not cash it anywhere in Brazil. On October 12, 2001 I went into the Mayo Clinic, (St. Luke's Hospital) Jacksonville, Florida for open-heart surgery. I was told I would be in there for six days. I went to Comerica Bank to purchase a money order for $90. I layed the cash on the counter and was told that I could not just purchase a money order with U.S. Currency. I had to withdraw the money from my account and then purchase the money order. The manager told me that they were complying with homeland security rules and that the teller could go to jail for not complying. My family and I were booked on flight 678 Orlando to White Plains on January 15 (8:25am scheduled departure). I purchased my Dell XPS 200 Desktop about 6 months ago. Recently, I went on vacation for two weeks. The computer was not used at all during that time. When I returned, it would not boot up and gave me an error message that a Windows file was corrupt. We rented a car from Fox rent a car from the san diego aiport. As others have also told you have to wait for around 30-60 mins before you get their shuttle. This shuttle took us to a creepy looking office. Tha parkign space where the cars were parked was dimmly lit. Crowne Plaza hotels are owned by Marriott and the Intercontinental Hotel Group. We stayed in the Crowne Plaza in Guadalajara, Mexico. I recently purchased a full sized box spring and mattress from this company, located in Gainesville, FL. Although their customer service skills were satisfactory, and they delivered when they promised to, the mattress itself SUCKED!
