Sam's Club - Extended Warranty
February 1, 2007
Last year I purchased an HP Laptop from Sam's Club. The factory warranty from HP was one year. I purchased an additional 2 years warranty from Sam’s. My first year service from HP was excellent. At the end of the warranty I had a mechanical problem with the mouse Pad and sent it to Sam’s warranty Co for service. They returned it un- repaired with no explanation. I called and was told that the warranty would not apply because the machine had been abused. After lengthy discussion they claimed that that there was water... read full review »

Meijer - Bowling Green, OH
February 1, 2007
I feel the photo department at Meijer in Bowling Green, OH has some customer service problems and doesn't have understanding when it comes to making reprints. First of all, the girl working on January 22, 2007, was rude when I asked about how to write out the numbers for negatives. She just stood there and acted like I was supposed to know what to do and what finish I wanted for my pictures. When I got home I noticed I was missing 2 sets of prints (4 photos total) and was charged too much. There was a sale going on on reprints for $.29... read full review »

Gold's Gym - San Diego
February 1, 2007
My experience with Golds gym in San Diego was nothing like any other gym I have ever been to in my life. The problem that I had with Golds is that Golds would have hoped to become my historical partner but also never offer anything financially to the entire world other than closing gym costs. You see Golds figures too advance at all things whether they were there or not it wouldn't make a difference. I worked out in gyms like worlds and Rockys that were managed by real sized men with real sized spotters physiques where I could have... read full review »

Maytag Quiet Series 200 Dishwasher
February 1, 2007
This dishwasher is terrible. It's two years old and I've had nothing but problems with it after a few months. The biggest problem is that it rinses the dishes with soapy water and then the soap dries on the dishes. I've had "technicians" out here but they say they can't help me because my water is hard. Baloney. I've done every "fix" they have told me to do, run it with only vinegar twice, use a product called Lemi Shine, etc. Still the problem. Today the technician told me it was the rinse agent... read full review »

I bought a HP factory refurbished media centre PC from FutureShop ($1000). It had 3 months warranty. IT started giving "starting" problems. Shuts on/off several times by itself before it starts. Once running sometimes it just restart itself. I got in touch with online product support and ruled out any software issues as I uninstalled all my softwares. Took it it FS under warranty on 22nd October 2006. Believe it or not HP is still fixing the computer. The last update I got from FS was that HP has sent it to their... read full review »

February 1, 2007
Durango mall management is the most unprofessional business I have had to unfortunately deal with in my life. If you need anything resolved with this company I suggest you report to someone other than the General manager or his secretary who is incapable of having and adult conversation. Name calling and rudeness is the only thing this company brings to the table besides a mall which isn't worth even looking at. read full review »

Ashley Furniture - Jacksonville, FL
February 1, 2007
My family and I recently purchased a much larger home in Jacksonville, FL. We purchased several rooms of furniture at Ashley's in St.Johns Center. The sales staff was friendly but appeared very hungry and swarming upon entering the store. We encountered nothing but problems while dealing with this store/company. First purchased was a master bedroom set. The bedroom set was delivered damaged. A huge, noticeable chunk was missing out of the wooden bed frame. Due to Western Union's negligence to use the three digit security code on the back of a debit/credit card, someone was able to make an online transaction to send over $2,000.00 of my money to someone out of the country. I am unable to point the finger at whom ever got a hold of my info, I don't know who it is. However if Western Union had required, or that of does require the 3 digit security code and let it by pass, this wouldn't have happened. They should make it a lot harder to transfer money. I began this annuity last year (2005), aware that we were and remain in a period of rising interest rates. The introductory rate was 4.75%, a very good rate, although not excessive. Now Genworth seems to be low-balling the interest rate for 2006, perhaps to make up for the introductory rate.
