Comcast DVR Services
August 2, 2007
A recent Comcast customer letter dated August, 2007, states that we will be paying an additional $3.00 per month for High-Definition DVR services. This is NOT an increase for service costs, oh no, but an incurred charge for "increased investments we're [Comcast] making in technology". Comcast means to say that they are charging customers for their own internal Research and Development (R&D). While R&D is inherent in most companies, the cost of R&D comes from a companies baseline running profits and should never be... read full review »

I enrolled in the Privacy Matter Program, and was charged $1.00 with a period of time in which I could disenroll before they would charge me $29.95. I disenrolled in May 07, I was provided a confirmation number. I'm a Soldier who deployed in June, upon checking my banking account online PRIVACY MATTER debited my checking account twice in July with a $29.95 fee, and a $1.00 3 times. What can I do? I cannot get a hold of this company, I've tried online and don't receive a response, and due to my deployment status it is not easy for me to call them. read full review »

Jenn-Air
August 2, 2007
Here is a letter I sent earlier this year about my crappy Jenn-Air mixer. I got zero response from these jokers at Whirlpool/Maytag/Jenn-Air. Never, never again will I buy any product from this pathetic American company, which makes Whirlpool, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, Kitchen Aid products. It's unfortunate when American companies seem to go out of their way to alienate their customers, driving them to buy overseas products. April 6, 2007 Jeff M. Cynergy Builders - Philadelphia
August 2, 2007
Cynergy Builders in Philadelphia. The main person from this company is a true manipulator. He will tell you whatever you need to know until you pay him and then nothing happens. Whoever buys from this builder here's some advice, buy a tent so you are prepared to camp out on the realtor's lawn until your property gets fixed. Trust me it will be forever. They definitely take advantage of people who are buying new construction houses. I bought one and paid for a specific window which was never put in but my money was kept. I had to sell it before I even moved in b/c the builder threatened me when i brought it to his attention! read full review »

Maytag Washer and Dryer
August 1, 2007
I purchased a new Maytag washer and dryer in 2002. I bought Maytag because of the trust I had in quality appliances. According to your advertisements, Matags need very little if not no repairs. My washer and dryer have both been REPAIRED TWICE IN THE PAST 5 YEARS. I am very disappointed in the quality of these products. The washer and dryer we purchased in 1982 lasted us 20 years and were still working when I wanted updated models. I WISH I COULD HAVE MY OLD ONES BACK! My husband has Centennial Wireless cell phone service. He also has two different kinds of cancer. He has not worked since June 6. He called Centennial to see if he could suspend his contract until he could get back to work. All he got for his trouble was TOO BAD, I had to pay over $200.00 to keep this out of collection. They told him the bill would continue to accumulate even though the phone is shut off. As soon as this contract is up, I can assure you that we will be changing providers. I guess that big business' really don't care about little people anymore. Thanks for listening, S.Oleneack. read full review »

A-1 Roofing / Robert Furey
August 1, 2007
Paid for new rubber roof with warranty. Roof was leaking after 6 weeks. To make a long story short he would not stand by his warranty and told me to take him to court. I DID, he never showed and I was awarded$2200. After three years I am still waiting for my money. The shotty roof job caused damage to the drywall and ruined my carpets, not to mention the plywood on the roof that had to be completely removed. What a nightmare especially for a single parent of three working hard just to make the mortgage payments. BEWARE! read full review »
