Well i was supposed to have what you call dry loop dsl service, which is just dsl no voice, about 4 weeks ago. When I joined with AT&T, they told me the rates to call to India, which was less than $0.40/minute. We made some calls and when the bill came, the rate was $7.00/minute. Airtel customer service representatives do not pick up the calls after 2:00 A.M, even if they pick up the calls they either put the customer on hold and disconnect the call or they just disconnect the call with out talking to the customers. Do not understand why Airtel is unnecessarily defaming ifself by hiring such kind of ineffecient personnel by which not only their fame is at stake but also these kind of people try to spoil the internal environment of the organisation. We switched to Verizon cell service at the end on November. Our first bill showed a charge for a school district tax for a district that is several miles from our residence. I signed up for Comcast service at Broadbandoffers and submitted three rebates totaling $179.95 in February 2007. After a few weeks I received confirmation that my rebates had been accepted and the prepaid cards are in the mail. Waited until September 2007 and did not receive the rebates.
