On Friday February 22, 2008 my husband and I went to the local Mall to see if I was able to get an upgrade for my cell phone. I went to the T-Mobile booth to talk to an agent. I was able to talk to the manager Eric. I told him I wanted to see if I was able to get an upgrade for my phone. I was not sure when my contract was up. He told me I had to go unit 2009. Then he also to me he had a plan that mite give me a phone upgrade and save me on my home phone also. He informed me that there was a plan out if I would upgrade to a home cell phone and a box installed for the internet. He said I would get a new phone and the box with a rebate at little or no cost and all my payment a month would be 10.00 more. I told him I needed to check with my current phone company to see how much just the DSL will be a month. I told Eric I would get back to him later in the day. I went home and called my current DSL provider and found out that I would be saving some money with just my DSL and the home cell phone Eric told me about. I went back to the Mall to again have Eric tell me about the program with the home cell phone. Eric went on and explained everything and how it would work and also that for just 10.00 extra onto my bill. He also said I could take everything home today. I told him to make sure on everything the cost and all and if it was still the same I would sign up for it now. He took my old cell phone and transferred all of my numbers over for me and after I sign everything we left. I did pay 62.10 for now getting back a rebate of 50.00 in the mail. After me and my husband went shopping in the Mall about an hour later Eric call me on my phone and told me my plan will cost me 10.00 more extra a month. He said the new payment will be 20.00 extra onto my bill. I asked him why it would change, he said something came up and he could not give it to us anymore for only 10.00 a month. Eric did not go into detail about what happened. I told him I signed everything in good faith for just 10.00 more a month and did not want to pay anymore. He said he would see what he could do and get back with me. Eric never call me the rest of the day. I went home with the new phone and tried everything out with the settings and all enjoying it. The next day I called Eric to see if he came up with anything. He said I will have to pay 20.00 a month or bring everything back to him. I had to make another trip to the Mall for a return now. When I got there Eric was not there yet. We had to wait on him to get in. Then I told him I did not want to pay the extra 10.00 a month he said I will have to give everything back. We went round and round with this. I stated he should have known the total price of everything before we took off with the new merchandise. There should no way we have to pay another 10.00 we did have a contract signed. Eric would not give us a direct answer on the problem. I wanted to speck to his supervisor but he would not give me a number to call. I told him I was very dissatisfied with this transaction. He said he could do no better. We gave everything back and I had to go home and put my old chip in the old cell phone myself. I would like to have someone contact me about this problem. The way we were treated and back and forth to the Mall so many times is not right. Please contact me so we could discus this further.
