I ordered a 52" LCD tv and received it broken. I refused the shipment and talked to the manager Henry. He attempted to get me to pay for new insurance on the replacement tv. What a scam. I refused and he finally shipped me a new tv. Guess what...smaller sized tv. I refused that and the fun begins. After being jerked around on the phone and promised a phone call back on friday, I had to call Henry on monday to talk about cancelling my order and getting a refund. Just like everyone else, never received product and does not respond to emails. The site has been temporarily down for weeks now. Will be contacting my bank to get my money back. Worst company ever to deal with. UPDATE 06/02/06: Filed a dispute with Paypal to get my money back. Aheadgames has 10 days to respond to my dispute. UPDATE 06/12/06: Shockingly, Aheadgames never responded and the dispute was decided in my favor and refund is pending. Purchased panasonic th50px600u, thinking I was getting a good dea; no way. When I called to verify shipping times etc. I was told that I could purchase the American model since this was "grey material" meaning that it's for asian countries and that the remote and literature would be in another language. Now aint that sweet. Ofcourse for a mere $600 I could buy what I thought I was buying in the first place. What a bunch of scammers!!! Stay clear. read full review »

I Purchased product from these guys through u-bid.com. They shipped me a bad hard drive. I was beyond u-bid guarantee of returning in seven days when I discovered the product was faulty. But there was a 90 day warranty from hi-tech cafe. I contacted hi-tech cafe. they were in the midst of moving and asked me to wait until they finished moving and they would take care of me. They sent me and rma. I sent them the drive months ago. Now they refuse to replace the drive. This all started within 6 weeks of original purchase. read full review »

I purchased a scooter for my nephews birthday. When it arrived I wrapped and brought to the party. When my sister-inlaw opened to put together pieces were broken off. I emailed and did not receive a reply. Finally a week later I got a reply asking for pictures. I sent pictures and then another week goes by before i received a reply saying to return to them. I also got robbed by this company. Paid the 130-something for their promotional order as a gift for my boyfriend. he received the gift certificate in paper form, went online to use it and never received the clothes and stuff he bought! Not to mention no guitar which is the ONLY reason why we got the damn "gift certificater." They are THIEFS. It is UNFAIR for them to do this to us. If ANYONE out there has any information on lawsuits, or any other way to get this money back please let me know. I've searched and searched but never have gotten any real advise. The wrong item arrived and before I sent it back I called and emailed numerous times, but did not receive an answer. I sent the part back and have been waiting since 9-24-08 to receive a credit on my MasterCard. I have emailed and called since then, but to no avail. These people have horrible customer service, Its been almost a week and I have received no information on the status of my order, 2 Days ago I tried their automated status lookup and have not received any emails, then when I called and the lady who answered was very rude and would not help me at all. This is not a way to do business, They may have good pricing, but they have terrible customer service. Do Not order from this store! When I placed my order shipping charges were never shown until after paypal was billed. I was charged more for shipping than the item. I immediately canceled the order through e-mail since their phone has been disconnected. They do not respond to emails and have terrible customer service. Save yourself the trouble, order elsewhere. I finally received the product in June, after TRYING to contact this company several times through email (no response) and through the phone number listed on their email 866-456-4887 (disconnected number, try it yourself). I promptly returned the product using their return process and it has been over 6 weeks since they have received it and I still haven't received a refund. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!! I attempted to order a Sony 21" monitor from them but after taking my order they never shipped the product. I tried contacting them through email and phone but no results. Their corporate number goes to a pager! The one time they picked up another line I called after they let it ring for several minutes they hung up on me after I explained my problem. I finally submitted a complaint to the BBB who wrote them a letter and they finally cancelled my order. The same thing has happened to me (purchased an $800+ camera, charged on credit card, order cancelled by them I might add, no credit applied) but now I have a new wrinkle to add...my credit card company ClickCiti/MasterCard is refusing to credit my credit card as they say there is no account anymore at the bank where web-shop had its account. Must say that this is a scam. The game is give a low price and delay your shipment. When you call they quickly try to sell you more add ons and refuse to give you the product at the listed price. I found a digital camera online that was hard to find elsewhere. Placed an order, received a tracking # that never worked so i called the company and they said that it was back ordered and that they had no idea when it would be available, but that they hadn't charged my credit card yet. Upon receipt of my credit statement I found that they had in fact charged my card and it posted 7 days previous to the day that they told me that the card was not charged. I should have looked at the reviews first. These guys are SCAMMERS. The TV I ordered online was listed as in stock. I called to check on the order several days later and they only had it if I upgraded to a "package" of needless and expensive extras. When I requested to speak to a manager I was disconnected. When I called back and got the same knucklehead on the phone he claimed to have sent me an email explaining the situation (not true) and was weel practiced at canceling orders. Two weeks later the motherboard came in and the CPU, FAN etc. did not. It's been three months now and still no CPU! They will NOT answer the phone, email or fax.
