1. Web-site tries to make you think this is a UK based on-line retailer but in the hard to find T & C's one finds it is Hong Kong based operating under Hong Kong law 2. I signed up for the Verizon Fios bundle in November of 2008 and my first bill was to be $69.00 plus fees and taxes totaling to about $104.00. My first bill was $265. Verizon has overbilled me $30 to $50 on every bill since then and calling them is very difficult as they are only open for calls from 9AM to 5PM when most people are at work. I sent flowers to my wife for Mothers Day from e-florist-inc.com. The price of the flowers, with the shipping charges, was $83.13. The web site says that all prices were in US dollars. When I got the bill for the flowers, I noticed that my credit card was charged $99.02 plus $1.98 for a foreign currency transaction. Nowhere on the site did they say that I would be billed a different price in Canadian dollars and that the net amount I would be charged was a different amount. I found a Chimney Sweep company in the yellow pages and decided to use them for estimates to check my home fireplace and the fireplace at a piece of rental property for damages. The rental property was up for sale and needed to have the chimney cap in order to pass inspection. I received them very quickly, but the box was smashed and ripped because they shipped these in their display box instead of repackaging them (please note that they are plastic and break easily!). We had problems almost WEEKLY. 8 hour down times were common. I am very disappointed with this company. It is impossible to reach them by telephone, and alls they reply to your email with is copied and pasted information from there FAQs on the website. I ordered $200 worth of products and they have been returned to the company by Fed Ex (their shipper) and they keep responding with their returns policy that I have to return the empty boxes before I can get a refund. On April 18, 2009 I cancelled webhosting, domain and domain privacy with Ipower. The privacy on my domain had expired the first week of April while I was on vacation. Ipower suspended my website. I asked them to unlock my domain, unlock my domain privacy and enable my domain to be transferred so I could transfer my site to another provider. My complaint is with the completely un-professional behavior of both our salesman and the Used car manager at this company. We purchased a vehicle from them and were able to take the vehicle that day. They send these messages several times per day, and for each message that they send, or to which you reply, they charge you $1.99 to your wireless bill. I have one of their Tankless Water Heaters with a “lifetime” warranty. What they don’t tell you is that repair parts take an extremely long time to get to you. They only ship via US Mail, or so they say. I offered to pay for overnight service but they refuse to do that. Bottom line my family and I have been without hot water for over two weeks while they get around to shipping the parts. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, don’t look for a helping hand, it’s not there. DON’T BUY A S.E.T.S. Tankless water heater. I used this company. They asked for payment before doing anything. I gave my credit card number and signed their form (a big error). They took profit to charge me an extra 2 hours. A complaint to my credit card company did nothing. They provided to the credit card company a fake receipt with my imitated signature; unfortunately I could not prove it was fake.
