These people tried to scam me when they came out to move my stuff. They finally moved me, then were a week late. I disputed the credit card charge based upon refusal to return my call. They turned it over to collections. I settled the account, then they tried to charge my card a third time. Good God, they will rip you off every chance they have. Household goods to be delivered within 7 business days finally delivered 19 days late. Missing 2 items of furniture. Advised to send a claim form by company manager. Claim form sent Certified, Return Receipt Requested. Receipt of Letter (claim form) was refused. PO is returning to sender. Insurance company notified. Police to be notified. Manager (Roy) has lied to owner throughout this entire moving process. 75 calls and faxes. Some returned with promises to deliver. Promises were all lies. Most calls never returned as promised. The company damaged my filing cabinet and dining table. Even though I found the cheapest possible replacements at OfficeMax and WalMart, the company is too cheap to send $280 in compensation and instead keeps stonewalling. In May 2007, I paid Model Search America $1, 295 in order to participate in their program. They sent me a confirmation email stating that my payment was paid in full and because I was getting ready to be deployed.. they transferred my package to December 2009 instead of keeping it at December 2007. Installed Pergo Presto flooring a couple of years ago. A panel was recently damaged, I obtained a new box from Home Depot. After unlocking planks to get out to the damaged one, and opening the box of new ones, I find that the length, width, and locking grooves do not match the existing floor! What do I have to do to get stuff that will fit togather? I do NOT want to have to replace the entire floor! For over a year now I have tried to get someone in your billing department to contact me and resolve a balance due that has appeared on our billing invoice. I have sent registered letters and someone did call and I gave them copies of the research I did but it has still not been cleared up. When I pay the bill I put in a note asking someone to contact me but they do not. I am paying the invoice short each month leaving the previous balance and $5.00 late payment charge off. In spite of my constant urging they ignore me or say their customer service number is inoperable. Georges was hired to seal coat my driveway last year. The treatment did not last even 7 months before it looked as though nothing was done to my driveway. i called Georges to complain and all he would say is that it was only meant to last 12 months, then 8 months and by the time we ended our conversation he said 6 months! I received the items today and want to return them for an exchange but when I read a complimentary exchange I assumed that I could return it free of charge and with a postage paid return address label. Well, I have a friend who is the manager for the Buffet Palace in Killeen, Texas. One day, the heater for the burner went off, so doing the job he was hired to do, he was going to do spmething about it.
