This afternoon at approximatley 4:00, my husband was broken down with his truck on Sunrise Hwy. in Patchogue, NY. This highway is extremely busy and hazardous especially during comuter hours. Customer service rep. called me on April 6th, 2010. She offered me International long distance call to Banglaadesh for 2.99 cents per minute; no connection fee, no activation charge, no rounding. I joined Stamps.com in 2009. At first I was paying $17 + each month and didn't use the service that much, so called to cancel membership, they then talked me into a $10 per month membership. I had broken my cell phone and went online to get a replacement. The process was smooth and easy. Instead of overnight, I got it two days...not a big deal. When I recieved the new phone and went to activate it, the screen started glitching. It would not let me calibrate to my settings, instead kept beeping anywhere I pushed. I have a 27" 8.5 hp auger type snowblower that I bought about 3 years ago and barely been used because of lack of snowfall here in Pa. The recent series of storms has required me to actually use this machine. The machine was NOT used roughly or abused, but nevertheless fell apart. The auger axel is mounted on a cup that is attached to the housing. This cup supports the shaft while it spins. The metal of the houseing is SO thin and unreliable that it simply bends out and the shaft slips out of the cup. Banging it back into position is a temporary fix until the next time. I purchased a fairly expenseive TaskMaster Industrial Chair for Safeco Products . I had a situation where the back became damaged and need to replace the padded back. The chair was sent as an assembled kit. I would have assumed that if a part broke or became defective I would be able to get a replacement. This was not the case.
