Purchased a Troy-Bilt Lawn Edger Model TBE575 and have used it less than 25 hours. After having to replace two belts, it stopped working altogether and I was informed by the repair shop that it was not worth fixing. Getting Troy-Bilt customer service to respond, by e-mail, phone or letter is fruitless. Troy-Bilt used to make reliable products when they were factory order only. However, since MTD is manufacturing their products the quality, reliability and customer service have tanked. I hired them to fill in a pool. 1) They had to drain the water out. They did not drain all the water. 2) They where to make drain holes in bottom of pool. Did not do this, Reason: Their was water in the pool that they did not remove. 3) Knock in the side walls of pool. Don't ever use House Dr. Painting Co out of San Jose CA. This is by far the worse company in every possible area! Pressure wash was half done, paint chips left everywhere, prep was awful, finish product peeled off the walls within 2 hours! Thurs., May 6, 2010, Sears Repair Service was supposed to come between 8 am & 12. No one came. Approx. 10 am I called, got a recording they would come between 1pm & 5pm. They did not come or call. I called Gillece to set up an appointment to have my air conditioning unit looked at. I set a time later in the day, 4:00, so that I would only have to miss some work. At 5:35 still no call from the technician so I called them and was told that there was not even a technician in my area. When I asked well will one be out for my confirmed appointment, for which I received an email as well as verbal confirmation of, the dispatcher said I don't know and really didn't even seem to care. I purchased a silestone countertop several years ago from Home Depot and have been trying to get my problem fixed on and off since then. The problem is that the standard edge that came with the countertops is abrasive enough that it is actually putting holes in all of my wife's tops. Very Dissatisfied - I purchased whirlpool refrigerator FF 450 Elite in March 2005 and this product started troubling me within year. The compressor was replaced in January 2006. Owners son came out to unclog our main sewer line. His diagnosis was that there were roots in our line & it may need to be replaced. He charged us the service charge fee of $ 110 plus he added an additional $60 fee for resetting the toilet for us & $25 for nothing totaling $195. Got complete system from them, Furnace, Central Air Conditioner & Tankless Water-heater. My price from them was better than what I expected. The Owner of the Company was present at our home durning the installation and stayed at the end to explain how to work our new equipment. He took a great deal of time to make sure we were happy. His employees worked on our house installing the new equipment as if it was there own home. The inground pool located 50' from my door was under demolition preparing for rebuild. Besides the noise of commercial air compressors and jackhammers starting at 7:00 in the morning the contractor made it unsafe for travel between our door and the street. Compressors feeding 100 psi of air into two 1" frayed and damaged airlines running 7 jackhammers were strechted from the parking garage, past my door, down the steps, to the main entrance and across. Before I left, damaged lines resulted in one breakage. Additionally none of the iron couplers had any safety clips that they were designed with.
