I responded to an advert by this company that they were giving out a product for weight management free of charge. Those interested were supposed to pay only shipping charges of only $4.95. on 11/21/2008 my banks debit card was charged .25. I called my banks to find out what it was and they gave me a number to call. I called it and it was a number not inservice. So i went to my bank and asked them about it and they said if you get a bogus little charge like that it means someone is tesing your account to see if it is active and open. Just got mine a few days ago and it is great as a cell phone or mp3 music player. About 6 months ago, I got a call from this company talking about magazine subscriptions and getting a $1000 online shopping spree too. I ordered the "free trial" offer and all I had to do was pay 10$ for shipping costs. I never recieved my free trial and contacted them several times to notify them. I have sent numerous emails and telephoned several times and have had no response...now they are trying to bill my credit card 49$ usd. I have never given them permission to bill my credit card for anything except shipping costs of the free trial offer (the one I never recieved). I was taking the Dumb Test. My first complaint is that I don't believe one can receive a score with our subscribing to some thing. I'm not sure because I gave up after 30 minutes of offers. I guess that's why they call it a dumb test., your dub to take it. I received a letter from this scam stating that I had won $125, 000. Enclosed was a check for over $4, 000 supposedly drawn from chase bank. I bank with Chase and when I took the check to Chase it was infact a real account number but not from the before mentioned business. It was from someone elses personal checking account. We purchased 2 mega blocks dump trucks for our 2 &3 year old. The wheel fell off the one truck, a simple product defect, resolved with a simple exchange. Closets by Design - RUN don't walk!! This company is HORRIBLE. I used them May 2006 and they send out the professional and responsible person to "sell" you. Once they have your down payment they got you and all pretense at professionalism END. I had billing issue with primus. Every month primus send me invoices of home phone which i never used. In fact my home phone is registered with some other company and i pay them every month. I called primus for more than 3-4 times after waiting for more than 30 mins each call. I also emailed them but after 3 months still my problem is unresolved. The customer service is most poor. Alwasys there is a call queue for more than 20 mins and when you call them they are absolutely making fool. I've utilized this company for well over five years now. Never had a problem with them. Long story short: Order paid in full was well over three weeks late. Had to cancel the order. Never got my money back despite multiple attempts. If a refund is the problem, don't fear, your wasting your time, you will not get a response/ or your funds returned to you.
