On 10/26/2008 I filed a claim with Asurion for a Nextel mobile phone that I lost. I was assured that the phone was in stock and would be shipped on promptly. I had to call their toll-free number because their website did not let me file a claim. Do not use this company! Unique Landscaping had nothing but excuses to offer after they tore up my lawn and planted bushes that promptly died. The contract I signed last September was for landscaping, rip up of front lawn and reseed, and a guarantee for one full year on all plants used. Called Visa & was told that my total purchase was more than card balance, thus declined. RIDICULOUS! The card balance should have been credited against my purchase and I pay the difference. This company is not very responsible. I placed an order for an item that was stated as being in stock at the time I placed the order. It was to be shipped with in 5-7 business days. After two weeks I contacted customer service via email. I was informed that the item was on backorder and that my credit card would not be charged until the item was ready for shipment. I was given a new shipment date. I cancelled the order since it was going to be 2 more weeks! I did not renew on-star on my 2005 GM Vehicle, however they have charged over 460.00 to my bank account, I have called them, we sold the vehicle in Feb. of 2008 and charges have been charged to my account since Feb to date. My parents were the unlucky recipients of one of these post cards and without checking the BBB or any other resource, they spent $5, 000 on a membership with Royal Palm Vacations. So many promises and not a single one delivered. There are thousands of us online complaining about these companies doing the auto warranty scam but not enough of us are fighting back dirty(but still legally). A couple ex-employees have given up limited information but none have stepped up and contacted the FTC to help bust this case and shut them down. I took my truck to have 2 front tires put on, that was on friday. I was driving home from work monday night and my right front tire just flew off. I called economy tire and explained the situation and they refused to make it right and claimed they did nothing wrong. I got a hold of the manuals and they recommend 40lbs of pressure for the lug buts. He used an impact gun which applies 200lbs of pressure.
