I ordered a product that was supposed to be endorsed by Oprah Winfrey, if in fact she does endorse the product she should check it out. It a scam. The ad said try a sample of Acai Pure, free, only pay shipping and handling on first bottle, but at once there was a charge in the amount of 41.85 appeared on my bank account. I will be purchasing a new scooter for the 4th time in 5 years. I consider myself a "light" user in that I only use it 2-3 times per week for 2 hours per use. I use it for shopping, museum, or library usage. I don't think that this is a stress for a scooter. At over $1500.00 each time this is a hardship on my disability income. I paid $20.00 for two sets of smart lids but the shipping and handling was $47.70 and because I didn't notify them that I was returning them they said that they could only give me a $20 credit, which they did. My point was that they probably didn't weight over 5 or 6 oz - they were plastic rings with a stretching plastic over them. If they would have been reasonable about the s & h charges I could have handled this, but I find this ridiculous. After 24 days, 8 phone calls, and over 6 hours on the phone I had only received the straps (item 2). This organization is using the Federal Telecommunications Regulations to submit billings for un-requested services to individuals through their regular telephone company bills. The bill indicated a billed item, "Your Product Bill". My local phone company did reverse the charge so I did not get taken but there are a lot of people out there that do not check their monthly phone bills and have them automatically paid from their bank accounts.
