Kaspersky November 29, 2009
On 11-21-09 in the middle of the night someone used my bank card to purchase something from Kaspersky.com. We found 2 charges for $108.02 to be charged to our account. We called our bank immediately and put a hold/stop on my card and was told we just have to wait and see if the 2 charges just get dropped or if they go through. So we sat and waited, then on 11-24-09 the one charge was dropped from our account. On 11-25-09 I called 1-877-232-4588 to see if I could find out any information on this order. I spoke with Carmella, who had a very... read full review »

Express Care
December 2, 2008
An employee stole a pair of expensive sun glasses while I was getting an oil change. The police was called and the employee who was suspected of taking the glasses did not cooperate with the police. The other employee did not do well on a lie detector test. Owner John Markeli does not want his employees to admit guilt because that would make Express Care responsible for the glasses. This is one expensive oil change. I guess when one goes to a cut rate valvoline Express Care place with low pay employee it may cost you more than you bargain for. read full review »

Please be very careful when using this site. I ordered a headset which was labeled in GOOD CONDITION but wounding up having a broken mic. I combed the product information and no where did it state the mic was not working. They stated the item was salvage and sold AS IS but I didn't take it to mean the product was SORTA BROKEN. They deceived me by putting up a product that was broken without labeling it correctly. I understand it was used but they could have at least told me it was not entirely working. read full review »

Microtel
C. Smith April 18, 2009
The room was dirty, carpet stained and I kept my shoes on until bedtime. There were 8-10 long black hairs in the bathroom and a few in the shower. The heater kept making a loud clicking noise like a fuse, about 50 times a minute. Even on just the fan it kept clicking so I turned it off and dealt with no heater throughout the night. I was right next to the lobby and there were people laughing, talking all night. Without the noise of the fan/heater I had to sleep/doze with the TV on to drown out the outside noise. Woke up with backache from the... read full review »

I ordered a perfume on July 5th, but I have received nothing and I am sure I will never receive the perfume I ordered. They are crooks ! The money has been taken through Google Checkout and cashed by something called EXOTIC INNOCENT but the address in Felixstowe is false, they give the address of a hotel or guest-house and the phone number seems to be false too. No answers to the e-mails I sent. No communication. It's pure theft... The police should be informed and I intend to file a complaint against these robbers. read full review »

Corinthian Motors
Herkimer Altrab January 17, 2010
I have been going to Corinthian Motors for car repairs for several years. The first incident occurred after they replaced my brake line and failed to tighten the fitting properly. The car leaked brake fluid and lost pressure while I was driving, almost causing me to crash. Another time, after Corinthian Motors worked on my car, they failed to properly reattach my front wheel causing it to fall off on the highway. My front end crashed into the pavement, ripping apart the front of the car. Luckily no one was killed by their negligence. Such... read full review »

September 24, 2008
I recently worked for United American. The company has you go to a seminar in a hotel for the interview. First, they are only looking for bodies to fill the seats at these seminars. If you can pass the state license exam you are hired. To get people in the seminar they call potential employees and tell them they are the Torchmark Corporation and not United American. They are a small part of the Torchmark Corporation, but they know that people will not attend if they know that this is an Insurance Company. I knew nothing about Insurance Sale... read full review »

Booksurge
DBigs November 5, 2009
I'm so mad at myself for choosing Booksurge to publish my book. They are the worst! If you choose Booksurge, you will not get your book into ANY bookstore no matter how persistent you try. Amazon alone is not enough. You need bookstores. Bookstores hate Booksurge (and Amazon) because Amazon is so greedy and demanding. Furthermore, Booksurge will charge you a hefty fee if you want your book in Kindle form on Amazon. That should be free! Booksurge will find any way they can to nickel & dime you. read full review »

I allege that this company is violating the provisions of the federal Telemarketing Consumer Protection Act. TGI Friday's
February 12, 2007
My father took our family out for a nice dinner at TGI Fridays this last Thursday Feb 8th 2007. When the bill came and it was a good amount for 9 people they had taken out 18% gratuity my mother gave them a $25.00 gift card and said use this for the tip. We had gotten home and not only did he get gratuity they never took the 25.00 gift card off the bill or off the gratuity so the waiter ended up with a 62.00 tip. Just be warned that they will not tell you weather or not they take gratuity you have to really look at your bill and then correct them a few times to get it right or to keep them honest. Was told by Huntington Bank mortgage officer that our application for a refinance was "approved"-paid for appraisal-submitted all paperwork. For 5 months loan officer assured us it was ok. After the 1st 90 days we had to "resign" papers as we were told the government changed the application. That was when I saw the "closing costs" had climbed to $8000 on a $135, 000 loan!
