I took out a $200 pay day loan. I had to close my checking account. They are refusing to speak with me on the phone and are threatening to garnish my wages, which means the horrible company I work for will find an excuse to fire me like they have others. They say I have to open another checking account number and will not accept money order, cashiers checks, etc. They won't give me their mailing address. When I googled the name Sup WeightMax (which is the name showing on my checking account transaction), I saw reports of fraud- many others who were charged the exact same amount. I've been ordering from Sur La Table for years. I live in Canada, but all items are always shipped to U.S. addresses. Prior to Christmas, 2006, this was not a problem. This year, however, they cannot accept non-US billing addresses, even though the order is being SHIPPED to the U.S. After MANY calls to their Customer Service (daily!), it was finally straightened out and the goods were sent. Hello, Approx three months ago Bensons Beds delivered some beds for me, the day before I had my whole house carpeted in cream colored (very expensive) carpet. The delivery men walked across my garden and into my home without foot coverings, ruining my hallway, stairs and two bedroom carpets. I attempted to use my Visa debit card to pump gas. The card was denied at the pump, so I gave it to the cashier so she could swipe it directly at her terminal. The card was again denied and I had to pay cash. When I went on line to register the card my balance was zero funds and showing a pending $50 transaction at the very pump that denied the card in the first place. I never did get to use the card. In August of 09 my husband had given Fieldstone Trace Apartments $50 to hold an apartment. We were told that the $50 was 100% refundable if we chose not to move to their location. Company promises to reduce interest rates on credit cards and guarantees at least $1200 reduced payment per card. This was not done. Company claims that they only promised a work up of what is owed on cards and a payment schedule in order to pay off cards faster. I was told by both rogers and fido retail workers that I would not be charged to switch back over from fido to rogers. I've was with fido for over a year, signed a three year agreement with rogers, kepted the same phone number, name, address with rogers and this is what I'm told is the way, not to be billed for switching. I had a similar experience to "Disaster" on this website with AirTran in Atlanta on October, 2 2008 with my wife's bag that she has been using on many airlines without a problem for several years. They were not so rude as they were unwilling to bend on their judgement that the bag was too large. While they stated the limit was 61 inches and that her bag was 63 they was a sign on their counter that said 62 or less.
