Delivery of furniture has changed 3 times in 2 months, we just bought a new house 2months ago and still have no furniture very unsatisfied with this company. ashley furniture of fairfield california and there delivery company.the reason we bought furniture was because husband is having surgury and he needs something that supports him. know we have no furniture.
every time we have called to find out what was going on, we got the run around or nobody called us back.they state the couch we ordered is in but the recliner is not and they will ship it to us when both are in. the only way they will ship the couch to us is if we pay another shipping fee. read full review »

We ordered or furniture in early Oct. 2007. We new the date we closed on our new home and new the estimated time for delivery and coordinated it so. Well Upon receiving the furniture in mid Nov. we noticed that almost every piece was damaged or missing pieces. On top of that some of the items ordered were never even placed. A car insured by Unitrin Direct totaled my car. It took 8 days for the claims rep to return our phone calls. On the 9th day, I was allowed a rental car for a week. The claims rep gave me a low-ball figure for my ruined car. It is not enough to purchase anything comparable to my vehicle. The claims rep lied to my husband on several occasions, yelled at him, hung up on him, refused to transfer him to a supervisor, told him he could care less about our problems, and will not add days to our rental car until we can find a car to buy. Watch out, this place is the classic bait & switch company. I ordered a Nikon DSLR package and they told me the lenses wouldn't auto focus, even though Nikon had confirmed the lenses would work fine. I asked if everything was in stock initially, in which they said yes, then when I wouldn't switch anything in the package or buy any additional batteries or filters, the package was "magically" out of stock the next day when my order was processed. The Showroom/Manufacturer received an order from a design firm. The showroom represented our furniture line. The showroom cashed both checks the design firm had issued them; a total of $27, 000.00. Our contract states that a check is to be sent out to us, one week after, the showroom has received payment.

I clearly didn't read all the details, so this is my fault, but just in case you sign up for a race using Active.com, watch out for the hidden charge for their Free membership of $59.95 a year . I signed up for a race, paid the fee through active.com, then 30 days later was billed for an extra $59.95. I called the number on my credit card. Bharamatrimony all of a sudden came up with this idea of auto-renewing the memberships and charging the credit cards without notifying the members. Luckily I checked my credit card statment and noticed it, and requested them never to auto-renew my membership. they agreed that time. Guess what? They have a computer call me at 4:51pm about a job and I got cut off without the machine recording my decision to take the job or not. I called right away and they were very rude, as if I was keeping them from leaving promptly at 5pm. I explained that the machine cut off before I could reply and that I was available. The girl on the other end ofthe line did not even take my name or anything. The next day they called and offered me another job, but by evening they told me that they gave my job to someone else. I ordered the "boldly blue" wedding centerpieces from fiftyflowers.com for my wedding on 9/19/09. As they suggested, I had the flowers delivered 2 days before the event (on 9/17) so they would rehydrate and open up. The flowers did arrive on time and in good condition. The flowers were closed. My mom and bridesmaid unpacked them and arranged them as per the website's instructions.

Ever since I signed up for a website with Citecube.com I have had many technical problems they refuse to cooperate in addressing. In spite of my constant urging they ignore me or say their customer service number is inoperable. This is one of the biggest scams I've ever come across, and there doesn't appear to be anything anyone can do about it. Lightening knocked out my service with Hughes.net on Sunday, May 25th. We had a two day service agreement with them. We were told that a repairman would come out on Friday, the 30th. Friday morning he called and said he was sent to another job and would come out on Monday, June the 2nd.. I had to move from Redmond, WA to Fort Collins, CO. I received several quote and selected American Vanlines. They outsourced my move to a local mover and on phone they told me will deliver within 7 days and written delivery Window as 04/22/09 to 05/06/2009.
Finally they delivered items on May 6th and lot of items were missing and many of them were costly electronics items including my DVD player. When I contacted American Vanlines they said they are not responsible for anything and you contact the mover.

I also called and was on the phone waiting for hours. I told them to cancel my account. Here it is 2010 and they want to collect $133.95 from me. Do I actually owe money ? They said I would receive 1 year free services. OK great ! What they did not inform me of was when the year was over I was automatically signed up for another year. If you want to cancel the second year, then you must pay for the first year. $ 800 later I can't even find this company at the web site they provide. He told me that there was this “DEAL" from some buyer who wanted to buy my Las Vegas Summer Bay Resort for $22, 000 but they needed $2000 of refundable money up front and they would send me a check for $24, 000 when the deal was completely done. On July 17th 2009 I Purchased a 12 cup programable Mr Coffee coffee maker. Not six months later - I filled the coffee make with water and it drained all out at the bottom. I cleaned up the mess and took it over to the sink and tried filling it up again and the water drained out of the bottom. Called the service number due to the warranty and found out the closest repair facility was 180 miles away. I threw it in the garbage can and yesterday I purchased a Black and Dekker.

In February And March I tried to get a hold of their tech support department to take care of some minor problems with my account. I spent countless hours on the phone, and was hung up on constantly. Someone credited my february bill for 20 bucks, but apparently whoever did that wasn't supposed to. I also used turbo tax to file my taxes and santa barbara tax group was suppose to direct deposit my taxes.. i recieved my first email saying that i would get it on the 12th . then when not recieved I got another email saying my money would be direst deposited on the 19th. now being the 19th they said that my bank rejected my deposit and they had to send me a paper check that I would recieve within 5 business days. There have been unauthorized charges to my credit card account from Easy Saver, I have no idea how long they have been charging me (at least 3 months) shame on me. Anyway, after complaining to them and the nasty representative, they agreed to reverse one charge and discontinue charging me. Well, they reversed one charge and billed me twice in the past month.
