I have purchased some movies from this company via their website in February (for $50). Despite my numerous claims and emails and re-assurance the products will be delivered they had never arrived. The company claimed this was UPS issue, but when I tried to track my parcel using the consignment tracking number, I realized UPS has never received any goods. I asked for the refund which I was again re-assured to receive (in June). Now it's end of August, and I haven't received any goods. Nor have I received my money back. Asset Acceptance LLC has contacted me regarding a debt from 1999 with B of A, whom I have not used in at least 10 years and at the time I'd terminated my account in good standing for the reason of relocation. In 2004, I got estimates from several pool companies for an in-ground pool. Decided to use Blue Haven. Signed a contract and they arrived in May to start the job. Signed an additional excavation contract and gave them a check for several thousand dollars. The starting digging and 8 hours later, and after a 20x16x4-6' hole in my yard, they said they needed more money to remove the dirt from the yard. Despite offering an "instant top up" service I didn't receive a code so topped up elsewhere out of necessity. Only when I emailed them after five days to ask for a refund did they send me a code. When I emailed them to tell them that I no longer needed the code which is why I'd asked for a refund they then told me they didn't give refunds once they had sent codes out. You couldn't make it up. Speedway is unfair to their employees. They tell you one day that your doing a great job, and the next they day tell you your fired! When they get a new manager at a particular store, the new manager is told by the District Manager to terminate all the employees that worked for the former manager. Even if they do nothing wrong. I ordered checks from Checks Unlimited and now the run around begins. I placed an order for two boxes of checks, and received box 2 of 2 in the mail. I called there representative and asked where box 1 of 2 was. The person told me that they both have shipped at the same time, and I should receive box 1 of 2 in approximately another week. This complaint concerns a commercial install performed for a non-profit organization. After almost six months, we still don't have a fully-functioning system and are out nearly $8,000. This Valentine's Day they sent out a coupon for 10% off which would apply at the time of shipping and they would bill your check/credit card the discounted amount. I ordered a product from Allegro, never got emailed shipping information, their website showed none available; then after calling 3 weeks later they said it was delivered 2 weeks prior and they then emailed UPS tracking showing that. However, I never saw it, didn't know to watch for it and it's strange because I and my neighbors get packages all they time without problems. Beware of doing business over the internet with EliteXtremes base out of Florida. They charge you fully for the products ordered and then do not send them. You call to inquire about your order and they inform you it is on backorder. Why do you charge fully for an order you do not have in the warehouse? Previous experience with reputable companies is we charge when we mail your item, not so with Elite Xtremes. Universal fidelity took money out of my account without my authorization. I called them twice, they refused to credit the money back to my bank account. The person I talked to yelled at me the whole time, and said that they take money out of accounts quite often without the consumers authorization. I asked him if they were going to put it back into my account, he said "probably not". I ended up calling my bank and they stopped the payment, and we are going to file a fraud claim against Universal Fidelity. They will not win this one. Thanks read full review »

Several months ago I suscribed to Prevention Magazine, a Rodale publication. After realizing what a stupid magazine it is, I cancelled the subscription. In 2001 we purchased a car that was originally financed with another company. Citifinancial ended up with the loan. At one point, I sent in 2 payments. Several weeks later I received a letter in the mail stating they were going to repossess my car if I didn't bring my loan current within 10 days. When I called them, they showed no record of the payment. I had sent a Western Union money order. At that point they required 2 MORE payments up and beyond the $900 I had just sent them. Virgin Media is far and away the world's worst customer service company. It is not surprising that the company is up for sale again. Anyone mad enough to buy them can expect the worst. I went and bought The Sims 3 and it sucks. Wow you can make really cool people, but that's it...what about different lots where you can build your own houses? All this game is...is boring. I am a huge Sims fan, but Sims 2 was way better than this crap. All the game does is load really f***ing slow, or freeze. I was signed up for California lifeline services. After one year didn't get the new form or the new bill that was now almost double my monthly amount. I called them to make my regular payment of @29.97. Mr. Jose Gonzalez who took the payments, says Oops, I made a mistake. Charged you $75 by mistake.
