General Electric

We re-did our kitchen and bought six GE Profile appliances: Stove, Advantium microwave, refrigerator, washer, dryer and wine 'fridge. The large 'fridge was delivered with a bad compressor and it took 3 weeks for GE's service department to come on-site and cart the thing way and deliver its replacement. Two weeks later, the wine 'fridge died and had to be replaced. And last night the glass on the top-loading washer cracked completely on its own (this actually provided my wife and I with 5 minutes of entertainment as we... read full review »

I checked this site out and saw too good to be true prices. It is exactly that!! I ordered because there were several reviews that said they received there merchandise after a lengthy shipping experience but it was as advertised. I was not in a hurry so I ordered. I ordered 2 PS3 wireless controllers. What I received was a 2 wireless PS3 controllers that would not work without being attached to the power cord. One rattled. Just to look at them, you would not see anything different except the Chinese written tamperproof seal. The satisfaction... read full review »

Lexington Law Firm
September 1, 2007
I signed up with Lexington Law Firm, an online credit repair company. After signing up (for a $39.99 fee) I found out that I would have to do all the work, send them my credit report, etc... I signed the cancellation papers (which can not be faxed in- for whatever reason) and mailed them in. It states on these papers that you need to cancel within 5 days of signing up and your money would be refunded within 10 days. It has been a month, and my money still hasn't been refunded (and they took $110 out of my bank account, instead of the... read full review »

I HOP
June 11, 2008
On june the 7th at about 1:30pm my car was parked at the front door of the restaurant. I went to my car to start it to get the air conditioning going because it was about 100 degrees outside. I accidently locked the keys inside the car with the engine running. I went back into the restaurant to inform my wife what happened. While inside I asked about two employees if they had a hanger or something I could use to get inside my car. One said we don't have anything. The other went to look for something but could not find anything. I then... read full review »

Great Fun
October 3, 2006
We were charged $79.99 on a recent Visa bill, from “Great Fun”. I found Great Fun on the web, called and canceled what they called a “new membership” in their travel club. I called Visa and complained about the charge. They canceled the payment, and told me that I have to be careful in certain websites, that I don’t inadvertently sign up for a club like this by NOT unchecking a box where I am agreeing to join. I checked my records, and noticed that I signed up for this club the same day I purchased something from Amazon. Can they legally do this? read full review »

Ordered several items and by the time the first one arrived I had already ordered another item. BIG MISTAKE!!! Quality is not as expected and as noted in other reviews you pay for it up front and then wait a month or two for your order to arrive with no notification that its going to be delayed. When you call all you get is a run around about when it will be shipped. By the time I got may package the event I needed it for was already over. Sent a number of emails to the staff at ProSoccerUK with a few questions regarding kits and prices etc. Seemed very helpful at the time, but obvious now it was simply to guarantee themselves a sale. Ordered £400 worth of kits, was told they would arrive within 10-15 working days at worst. Been a month now and nothing. Tried to contact them numerous times but absolutely no reply at all. Looks like a nice site at first glance, but I went ended up booking a hotel through this site and then upon arrival at the hotel had a very bad experience with their service, so much so that I didn't want to stay there anymore. I paid for one night's stay, and left disappointed. I later went back to Venere to write a review of my experience, but Venere wouldn't let me, no matter how much I asked. It seemed they wanted to protect the hotel instead of the helping the mistreated customer! I would be very cautious about the quality of hotels on this site. read full review »

The only True thing about True, is the dedication they have to deceive the public and take advantage of them. Canceling, does Not work, you will be billed, month after month, the only way to prevent this is to change your credit card number. They are far more dangerous than any telemarketer, or scam artist, because the use loophole's in the the law to acquire the customer base, Which does not matter if they are minor's, the bottom line is True.com's Bank account... safety and concern for other's be Damn. read full review »

So, i decided to buy a camera from Simply Electronics. The first time I did this, my Credit card company called me up and told me there had been some dodgy activity on my card, they had blocked the last payment, and cancelled my card. I didn't think the two were linked (yes, I know, gullible me) so I tried again. Since I am from Garden Grove, I spoke with Union Dodge, first. And yes, it was a big hassle. They decided that I was a moron and treated me accordingly. Apparently, they think the cost per month rather than the overall price is what matters in finance. Is that how you operate? They also think I should be paying 8% APR. It's through THEIR loan company and they can't budge on that one. Right. They also thought giving me $2000 below MSRP was a deal I was stupid to pass up. Please! About a month later we get a notice from a collection agency for this amount. I contacted the district office of the club, told them the situation and was told they would take care of it.
