I sold a vehicle I owned back in February of '07 to Carmax. Received a pay-off confirmation from Wells Fargo. Now after after 3 months I have been receiving calls on a daily basis from Wells Fargo collections claiming that I am 90 days behind in my payments and I must make a payment right now otherwise I would be reported to the Credit Bureau and the vehicle re-possessed. I asked Car max to call them and clear up the matter. Carmax sent me a copy of the cleared check that was paid to Wells fargo but to no help. I am still receiving calls everyday. I am fed up. I graduated in 2003 with my Associates degree in Business Administration. The reps told me I could transfer all my credits to any university well I went to University of LaVerne and they only accepted 24 credits. I got a loan for almost $8, 000 just for an AA. They are complete liars. I remember the teachers would constantly be replaced. I wanted to quit in the middle of school but they told me I made an agreement with them. Anyway. I bought a pair of shoes and a dress yesterday at BCBG in Los Angeles and the salespeople were very nice. I read the receipt which stated exchanges were fine within 10 days with receipt and "All sales final on sale items, accessories and swimwear." BCBG carries necklaces and rings and handbags as well and shoes and clothes. i assumed this was what was meant by "accessories" and was not told any differently. i wore the shoes for about 10 mins on carpeting last night and they hurt my feet terribly. My complaint is about NYCHA I had my door kicked or hit with something while I was sleeping on 1/11/07 and housing is charging me for the door $629. I called the police and made a report and had to call the FDNY because the door was jammed and I was locked inside and they came and opened the door but, the door was destroyed. Now NYCHA wants me to pay for the door but it wasn't my fault and I live on a fix income which is public assistance and can't afford to pay. I reserved a car with a estimated quote of $37.49/day for 2 days. When I picked up the car, the cost was going to be $385. When I questioned the amount I was told by the agent that it included $200 which would be credited to my card when I returned the vehicle. When I returned the car and got my receipt, the receiving agent told me that the $200 would be credited directly to my card. Needless to say, I never received the credit and when I contacted Hertz, they claimed my car rental rate was $150.49 a day! It is a complete misrepresentation and a rip off. read full review »

We purchased a hot tub and gazebo from The Great Escape and have had nothing but problems. We paid for a new Gazebo and they installed a very damaged floor model.It was installed backwards, the windows were broke, hinges were broke, pieces of wood were carved out, the frame was bent and the door will not shut. I have a Admiral...from the division of Maytag...with a burnt out motor. Machine is barley two years old...has been treated very well...not overloaded...and now the motor is burnt up. Since it is out of warranty...the cost to fix it will be the same as buying a new one. No williness from Maytag to give me even a discount on a new motor. Purchased a Vizio L30 TV from Sam's for $1,298.00. Remote control quit working. Sam's "repaired" it (said poorly soldered connections), lasted 2 months and quit again. We had simple requests when signing the contract, caller ID, AA, VM, call reporting and customer service. They failed to deliver on all of these requirements.
