I bought a Sears Calypso Washer made by Whirlpool in 2001 and it has been fairly reliable until recently (but we did not use the machine heavily). Last year it started having problems during the cycle, stopping to display the SL and LD lights. I figured some ways around the problem but now it is impossible to make the machine work. I also find that participation in the litigation closed just two months ago! This pet store advertises as a homebred breeder on the internet. They claim the puppies are homebred and supreme bloodlines and come with breeding rights, and health papers etc. We got a very sick puppy that almost died from the owner who claimed they were breeders and not a pet store. I had canceled my p0licy on 11/06/2007. I made the request to TATA AIG and HSBC. But they didn't proceed with my request. Still they are deducting the amount from my credit card. 4 times I given complaint to HSBC and 4 times to TATA AIG too. Only thing what we have to do is blast them like anything and call their MOM. In November 2006, my finance and I purchased a leather couch with a Protection Plan. February 2007, we noticed a tear in the left couch cushion due to a staple that was protruding from the inside of the arm of the couch. About 5 years ago now, I purchased an entire bedroom set at Gardner-White Furniture in Canton, Michigan. It is a nice looking pine bed with headboard and footboard. The mattress sits on 4-5 wooden slats that run across the frame all the way down the center. In my opinion - yes, they are a scam. Their business practices are, at best, unethical and most often illegal. Every customer, vendor and employee has established that. It is hard to prove it because everyone scammed by them has a difficult time documenting times, dates and names of their transactions and/or conversations.
