What can consumers do about receiving defective items from ordering DVD's on line from Donkey DVD and TV Addicts, had their credit card debited and lack of response time received from companies when you email them on these issues? What are the rules for protecting consumers with ordering items online? how can money be credited back for items purchased and not usable due to defectiveness. I have been waiting for a new shipment of DVD's since December 2007. I did advise the company that I would take this further if they did not get back to me and of course no response to date.

I was treated & released at Lakewood Hospital in Morgan City, Louisiana. I was 16 years old at the time. So my question is this: why did this show up on my credit report after i turned 18? I had my car towed to Harry's for a diagnostic service only. The company was informed that I was repairing the car myself and only wanted the OBD2 test run. He was also informed that if the condition of the engine was bad enough, I already had a replacement, and I would just put the new engine in. They were informed of this over the phone and in person. I ordered teleflora's uniquely chic bouquet for my mothers birthday from benedicts flowers. All of the blogs online mentioned to go directly to a local florist so as not to incur any problems. I followed the advice of floral critics rather than using companies like ftd, 800flowers, or proflowers which would have been considerably less. I read the complaints about FASTHOSTS web hosting services too late to prevent what I consider fraudulent charges to be taken from my credit card. The service is terrible. They take subscription payments and fail to record on your account. Onlyafter proof-of-payment, and considerable effort and expense on phone, do they activate the account.
Then, they take late payment charges - due to their screw up. Back to the start of the process.

I ordered a bundle service package from Verizon on 12/27/07. DirectTV came out immediately and set up my cable service. As of today, March 3, 2008 I still do not have internet service and phone service. I hired the moving company Jan '07. They demanded cash up front, unlike the Visa/Master Card advertised. They did not have the proper equipment to move us from Des Moines to Cedar Rapids Iowa. Stated they would have to make 2 trips as they were unable to load the BBQ grill and patio set. I gave them a break by allowing them to bring the grill & patio set to my other house in Des Moines for a couple of weeks until they could finish the job.

This service is grade o. I train customer service reps and this type of customer service is unacceptable. Not only are they rude but they do not have the ability to resolve the situation related to the problem the first time before the escalation.
The hold time is incredible 20-30 minutes. When you get a rep on the line. Their tone is sour and foul. It is bad enough we are paying outrageous prices for call. They advertise to buy used cell phones. I sent them 2 phones, both the same model. One had a broken antenna, still worked, but they disqualified it. I don't dispute that. However, the 2nd phone is perfectly fine. I have contacted them over 10 times in the last 45 days to try to get them to even acknowledge the fact that they owe me for the 2nd phone. No response, except once they said I could PAY THEM $14.00 to send my phones back.

Previously when I've returned an item, it showed up on the order status within a day or so. Not this time. Now they are saying it could take 17 days to process. To be honest, I could have just returned it for a refund and ordered another one and received it faster. I had to return the item because it was defective. It would not print in black from the first day I bought it.We tried for 1 1/2 years to have lexmark help us there were 67 documented calls to them mostly to their tech people. they gave us many different things to try to do to get it operating properly. nothing helped.
