I had gotten on a papyment plan with the GAP. At that time i was told my account would be handled by GE Money Bank. The funnything was I still recieved GAP statements, but GAP could not process my payments. One time a collection person called for payment. I sugested we set aup a future payment, he ignored my request. I have been turned over to collection. I do recall an invitation to join approx 2 yrs ago, and I did recieve a magazine, a short time afterwards I recieved a small key chain and some stickers with my name on them. I have moved and changed addresses approx 18 months ago. Yesterday March 4th I rec'd notice from Collection Agency, that I joined in Dec 2006, and now owe them $461.00. They lied to us about the value of our Las Vegas timeshare which they promised to sell for $12,000. We were required to list with Resorts Solutions (a partner in the scam) for $500. When I cancelled insurance with the Hartford Auto Insurance I was charged a 10% cancellation fee. Two golf reservations for 2 people were placed with San Diego Golf Reservations (858-456-8300) on February 19 at a charge of $198 for each reservation. I received the bottle with 10 capsules with no info whatsoever in the envelope and no return address. 10 days after my initial trial offer, I was charged $79.99 on my card. I will never again own a GE refridgerator, even if it were free. My side by side is 2, repeat TWO years old and cost $1300. One year and One day old, the water dispenser died and cost $150 to repair. I received phone calls at home stating that I will be sent a $25 gift certificate for Walmart. They ask for address verification and stated my address.
