I have been receiving calls from this company since Feb 2008. They state that I have an outstanding bill from Citibank for over 10 years ago and they are collecting from it. I went to Michael's to exchange a damaged photo frame. Upon walking to the aisle of where I found the frame, 3 18"x24" frames came crashing down on me! Robert Allen's incredible spam marketing is timed to take advantage of people losing their jobs and stealing their money. I've spent a few hours tracking this campaign and they are all over the place with no contact points that actually generate a response. I was sent bogus check and letter stating that I had won $39, 000. Finding out there are similar scams going around. I never called the number but I will notify the bank (Peoles Bank, Connecticut) that the cashiers check was supposedly from. This was called Consumer's Reward Program and the company was J C Financials. The names used were Sara Smith and Michael Edwards. Numer given 905-781-2863. Name on the check was Brian Robertson. Notified company in November I wanted to cancel my account. The account was not cancelled, and on Dec 15th my credit card was billed for January 1-31. Company refused to reverse the charge. Company refused to cancel the account until the "unpaid" balance was paid. There was no unpaid balance, and even if there were, it was fraudulant since the account should have been cancelled. Colonial Crossings of Williamsburg (VA) gave us a certificate as part of our purchase of a time share. We completed the certification in August 2008, for a flight from Dulles airport (DC) to Orange County airport(CA) in February 2009 and sent the required fee.
