Our citibank card was charged by AHCLPay and gatterbill.com (also shows as gaterbill.com, pay-gaterbill.com), last year with ccbill.com. All unauthorized charges ranging from $1 or $5 to test the card, or what looks seemingly like a subscription charge of $34.95. Citibank froze the card recently for the AHCLPay and gatterbill.com transactions since Citi's system flagged it as a suspicious charge for online activity and/or with overseas based addresses. We're fairly conservative about the card usage with mostly recurring billings that we're familiar with...I think the only weird thing is DVD rental machines requiring a card swipe. read full review »

these people are scammers. they have no intent of selling any camera or other electronic device without trying to sell you a "discounted package", which puts the price up over any reasonable price one would pay.
plus, once they have your card number, they refuse to cancel your order, and put it through anyway.
I am currently working with my credit card company to contest the purchase, but don't think I can win.
don't work with this company unless it is to testify against them in a court of law. read full review »

Our 3 year warranty will be up in March 2009. The coffee pot brews half way, stops and then if we turn it off and start it again, it will sometimes will finish brewing - Somestimes it will not, and the coffee is not ward. We tried decalcyiiing with vineger twice - however it then works once and goes back to the same routine. We didn't see anything else in our manual that we could do to rectify this. Can you makeother suggestions?

Went in to Smart Style (inside our local Wal-Mart) today for cut, color and highlights. As recently as Feb 08 I was paying $50 to $60 for this same service at this shop, as well as another I frequented in another Alabama city. Today I was charged ONE HUNDRED AND SIX DOLLARS AND NINETY-SIX DOLLARS for the exact same service!!! When I questioned it the manager showed me the price book and when I told her the price earlier in the year was nearly half, she said I "must have gotten it done on sale."

I purchased a pair of glass frame last night about 7 pm at Wal Mart Vision Center in Fairfax Virginia.
The sales person brought me a displayed frame.
She fixed the glasses so quick and she charges me the frame as full brand new price, then I paid by credit card.
Next day I found something wrong with my new pair of glasses of frame.
One side frame leg letters has been erased.
And one side joint bolt was up side down.

Ordered groceries on November 12, 2008. Did not received until December 15th, 2008. While waiting, I CALLED - got no answer, but left 2 messages, EMAILED - 3 times, no response, RESPONDED on WEBSITE CONTACT 2 times - no call, no email.
When I did get the groceries here is what I found:
8 badly damaged cans (health concern), one sauce that expired Jan 01, 2007, one sauce that expired Dec 01, 2008, and two free chopsticks... how nice! The packaging was horrible and loose, with packing peanuts!

I entered into a purchase and sales agreement for a boat contingent on an acceptable survey. $2200 deposit was given. the contract states "in the event the sales is not consummated by reason of unsatisfactory survey...Deposit shall be returned" I called and emailed to get my deposit and everytime the "check is in the mail." I bought a Delux to go game with my credit card threw the UK club pogo website, Oberon charged me for the game and promised to email out an activation key, which they failed to do. They have charged me for a product i havent receieved. I have checked my spam folders nothing. My God this started two years ago!!!
in October, November and December of 2006 I had this unknown charge going through my mastercard for $19.95
I caught it in December of that year.
This charge started three months after I ordered one of those sandwich omelet makers from the USA after seeing a USA TV commercial it. The amazing part is the charge was coming from Montreal Canada and not from the USA.
So it was not as obvious to see. So this scam in international and it works.

We signed up for T&C foods and were told that the freezer was only 500.00. So I called and asked to just pay the freezer off and that’s when I was told that it was 3500.00 with the warranty and set up fees. This company continues to mail the diet supplement "Stack" without authorization. I only requested a free sample and they send a bottle monthly and bill my credit card. I want this stopped. I am writing to the attorney general of Texas and to my credit card as well as real solutions.

I am extremely frustrated and upset with Conn's Service Departments customer service at 1-800-379-9809. I purchased a GE refrigerator (still under extended warranty) model GSH25JSRF SS. I called Conn's for service on a Wednesday and service worker was here to look at my refrigerator on Friday. It turns out that the main mother board is bad again. Paid a ridiculous amount of money for no results. Was offered a refund, but was told I would have to wait 8-12 weeks to get it, which is unheard of at any legit company. However, I waited and over 12 weeks later, I still have not seen anything, and they can't offer an explanation. I never would have signed up for this if my sister did not work there. I thought if anything they would treat me ok becuase my sister works there, nope they didn't care. So I have filed a complaint with the bbb, and I will make it my mission to continue to tell people what a scam this company is. read full review »

In March 2008 I registered at freecreditreport.com to obtain my "FREE" credit report. The company requires a Credit Card or Debit Card number before they will issue your report. The Second I was finished with the site I called their customer service line (as the website stated) to cancle my account so that I would not be billed. I had just started up my FoxFire and had a popup come up about downloading the latest version. I should have known it was phony since it didn't have the logo when I opened it. Paid $35 for a "7day" free trial of what I did not know until I had paid! I dissolved my business in September of 2007. My contract with 1 and 1 was set to expire a year later in July of 2008. I contacted a 1 and 1 rep via the phone to find out if I could pay one lump sum for the remainder of the contract and then cancel it in Sept. of 2007 since my business had been dissolved and I no longer needed a host site. I have been watching the scheduled programme Police, camera, action on ITV tonight to find Gethin the presenter to be breathalized in a controlled experiment. After several times of being breathalized after each lap and driving after a drink to see that after his last vodca and coke (double) he was still under the drink drive limit. Is this not advertising that people can go out and have a drink and drive. Young drivers should be encouraged not to drink and drive than to have that one extra. For all of you who are getting charged for further shipments of Total Cleanse, the correct # is 786-554-2446. After getting hung up on, I called back & spoke with Nell. She was actually helpful, and cancelled my account. Make sure you get a confirmation cancellation # and that they email you with same. I now have to fight to get the $78.84 charge credited back.
