Headsd up, our numbers are being sold under the table to timeshares and telemarketers. I got numerous calls and the timeshares person says 'that place is useless b/c theyre the ones making money by selling your numbers." Shocked, I got a hold of someone about the do not call list. I was told 'it doesnt guarantee your number is save from timeshares telemarketers etc. and if anyone could we could and sell your numbers.' Basically its just false protection. We've been without a fridge for more than a week. My 5 years old Samsung fridge just bite the dust and I was in the process of replacing it with the same model from Best Buy, that was due to deliver tomorrow december 28, 2008. We stayed at the Old Court Hotel for one night recently. The booking was made in good time. When he booked my companion was first told that the hotel was full, then that there was one room available. Since Hurricane IKE here on the Houston Ship Channel traffic at my post was difficult at best during the 12 hour shifts. I thought since they treat everybody equally my supervisor would give me a respite occasionally. Never came. I asked "Can anybody give me a break. Standing 12 hours while power is out on the main gate and all the traffic entering and exiting is taking a toll on my back as well as my feet and lower legs".
