Advanta Bank is criminal. My rate went from 9.9% to 37.17%. Their corporate headquarters is in Pennsylvania but they use Utah for credit card customers because, particularly with corporate credit, Utah's Usury Laws are poor at best and allows them to charge any interest rate they want, according to them. The spirit of the consumer Usury Law in Utah says a maximum rate of 10% is allowable but Advanta thinks they are untouchable with business lending and apparently the Utah Attorney General has done nothing to curb what I consider to be... read full review »

I've repeatedly tried to obtain the wedding photographs which I've paid for, but over a month has passed and I still have no photographs. I've been very patient and I have tried to be understanding. My cashback has not been paid. I purchased two Compaq Preario Laptops. I submitted the required details for the cashback offer and received back from them two emails detailing that my two cashbacks would be paid on 29-Jan-2009 and 24-Feb-2009. It is now 12-Feb-2009 and I still have not received my first cashback. Ok, so me and my buddy are playing WoW and we decide to buy some gold because we need some. So, I go onto google and type in wow gold. I saw $5 for 10, 000 WoW gold, which is false advertisement for one and is illegal. I need to complain about this company because they are making so much money off of people, and do not provide a sufficient or half way decent service. I have been dealing with this company for around 2 1/2 months and have spend over $500. First they charge a fee everytime someone adds money to the account, so for $50 deposit they add only $40 to your account. Deviant Computer did an awsome job building my computer. I got everything I needed in a neat little box and they did not rip me of anything. I looked inside my PC and also found all the cables neatly binded together along the side of the case and not just all over the place. Don't buy from these guys. I ordered 2 phones and after they accepted the order they jacked up the prices buy hundreds! I had to fight to cancel the order. I read a couple of these complaints and had the same strange call come to me this morning. My first suspicion was the simplicity of the name so i decided to look it up. It has a website that looks pretty legitimate and almost took the bait. I then Googled American Income Life "plus" scam and a scores and scores of results came up. Clicked on a link to this website and was convinced that I should not waste my time with this crap. The other phone they denied receiving happened to be more expensive and rare to find here in the US. One of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had. The only thing I can equate it to is a bad mechanic. Where you feel helpless, and its your word vs. theirs. Their customer service is pitiful and I can see how this has probably become a bit of a scam for them. You order something, they send you the wrong thing. She was helpful and very quick to answer questions. DeadEye was also very quick to get the product to my door.
