March 1, 2009 a new fifteen week old yorkie puppy was purchased by my son. March 5, 2009 the puppy was in emergency care, near death. March 9, 2009 the puppy was dead. I have been a Sears customer for many years and have purchased all of my appliances as well as the warranty protection plan for them through Sears. This past February 2009, I was contacted by phone about renewing my warranty. I was told that the cost for 2 years would be $907.00 with 0 % interest. They call claiming to talk about your recent renewal. You have no idea what their talking about. Aparently they spoke to you or someone else a year ago to get a subscription. Last year they caught you off-guard, at a busy time or intimidated you etc. and you paid for the ad. They have a recording and "supposedly" sent the "contract" to you in mail, email, fax or whatever. Three months after registering with 150 out of the 300 companies listed, I've gotten seven emails to participate in their surveys, each offering $0.25 to $3.00. Most surveys only offer rewards or sweepstakes which don't exist. Whatever you do, don't buy this expensive vacuum. I had demonstrated to me at least five different kinds. The salesman assured me this was the best. (by the way, the store is out of business now) It was certainly the most expensive.
