We purchase several Brights Effects CF lights from LOWES less than 2 years ago when we moved fron LA to TX. We used them in our kitchen (6) the advertised warranty is between 7 to 10 years and they only lasted 20 months. The average usage was 4 hours a day. We understand things go bad and nothing lasts forever BUT, a product that says they last 7-10yrs and only lasted less than 2 years. I bought Iomega 1TB portable hard drive on 9/2009. The drive came in defective. I called the retailer and they replaced it. This 1st replacement worked until 3/2010 - then stopped working and I lost 50 GB of data.
