There is absolutely no follow through from this company. I ordered a toddler bed online, and didn't receive it after 6 weeks so I finally cancelled my order (after I had been told on numerous occassions that is had shipped---it never did). This was in July of 2009, it is now September 2009 and I still haven't gotten my money back. There phone is no longer connected. Flowers were ordered online from FTD and Bloomsflowers. As you enter your email (so you can get a receipt/record confirmation) and put in your credit/debit card (you think just paying for the flowers & delivery), they claim you have signed up for a membership and charge you every month until you finally catch it and have to call to discontinue the "membership" of course w/no refund of your unauthorized charges. Smartsubs delivery and customer service is very poor - Beware of ordering products from Smartsubs. This is a site that offers good prices but requires that you sign up for a trial subcription (e.g. blockbuster). I ordered my product on December 1. Upon ordering I was informed via email that my order would be processed once my subscription order was process. My order was held up until Dec 9, before I heard from them again about shipping. I would almost certainly say it is a scam. I ordered something from them 2 weeks ago, and have not received it yet. You pay $24 for shipping, which is not clear until the confirmation page upon which you have no way to cancel the transaction. I have written them two very strongly worded e-mails and have gotten no reply. They plan on taking $85 monthly automatic deductions from your card you provide for the small shipping fee. They also do not give you 14 days to cancel. Placed an order online with this company and the next day found my credit card charged 5 times for it. Have tried to contact their customer service by phone all day today and have been on hold for their customer service 20 minutes, almost 1 hour and now 15 minutes again before hanging up with no contact to correct this very bad error on their part. Electronic payment made 12/14/2010 debuted from checking account the same day. Balance in checking account the day of the payment was$21, 209. Bank of America visa was contacted on 12/15/2010 by the card holder and was told new policy was to place a hold on the account equal to the payment amount for 5-7 business days. The card holder phoned on 12/20/2010 and learned the hold was still in effect. One hour and forty-five minutes later the hold was released. I have bought (or tried to buy) produce at this Cub food and either it is poor quality or spoils within a bay of buying. It has not been a every once in awhile thing. I have repeatedly tried to give them a chance. Wear nose plugs when you go into the meat department. I have been into other stores with open fish displays and not needed nose plugs.
