I used Gexa as my electricity service provider for over a year and suddenly they started claiming that my payments were late and charging me late fees. All of my payments were mailed 10 days prior to the due date (via an online bill payment service). I called their customer service line and explained that the payments had been sent 10 days prior to the due date via an online bill payment service and they still refused to refund the late fees, blaming the US Postal Service but still charging me the late fees. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, THEY ARE CROOKS. I have switched to another electric service provider and sued them in small claims court. read full review »

I took my auto to this repair shop for a rebuilt motor. He stated it will be ready in one week. He had it for three weeks. We picked it up and paid him 1,800 dollars for the work.
The very same day we got three blocks away and it broke down. We had to get a rental for the 3 weeks. We had the car two weeks and it started over heating. I purchased a Gateway Notebook for my husband on Dec 9, 2006 as a Christmas Gift. When I purchased it I asked the young man if I could return it.
He said, "yes". I asked if there was a restocking fee. He said, "only if the item had the seal broken." On Christmas day my husband graciously declined my gift, so we decided to return it.

When I bought my new HD TV, I upgraded to the Premium HD Cable TV service from Comcast last year after having regular TV service with them for the previous 2 years.
I soon discovered that there were still some "manufacturing defects" in their new HD Cable TV set top box. Don't believe or waste your time dealing with Home Depot.com customer service. They are very inventive and have a different story to tell you every time you inquire about the "gift card credit" they are supposedly sending you. I was told that my request for an adjustment for an overcharge would be on my credit card. Then I was told that instead it would come as a gift card and I could expect to receive it in 3-5 days That was Dec. 13. Just like anyone else, I can't stand calling a company and getting a recording, so I've started e-mailing them instead. This has worked pretty well so far, with the exception of Verizon. I was disabled for 3 years. I was in a wheelchair when we moved into this apartment complex. This particular apartment complex has a lot of disabled people in it.

I have been a AAA visa customer for many years and a very good one, always paying my bill, in full, on time. When my bill was coming up due last month, I scheduled an early payment, to avoid any chance of lateness with the holidays approaching.

I want everyone to know that they should avoid Integrascan at all costs. This company gives a bogus money back guarantee. They do not stand by their guarantee.
I ordered two searches from them and the second one came back with nothing. Now their guarantee states that if you are sure the record exists and it is in their coverage area, then they will refund your money. I called customer service to find out if I could pay my bill over the phone with a check. It was available but for a $10.00 fee. Then I explained that I was trying to avoid a late payment on my account - which I have had for 10+ years - because of a death in the family and the holiday on Monday (M. L. King) I was concerned that the payment would be late. I was told that the late charge would be $39.00 which was ridiculous for an account with an $80.00 balance. While the St. Gregory appears to be a luxury hotel on the outside the suites, at least the one we stayed in had a serious problem.

During my 2 years of service with sprint pcs, I was told that the only way for me to make payments to my account was to go to a sprint center or mail a check. I tried to change this so I might make payments on-line or over the phone. The company's customer service REP. told me this was impossible. When my contract expired I switched to Verizon. I have tried numerous ways to contact them but got zero response. Could not reach them via telephone and no answers to numerous emails I sent. I ordered a pet treadmill from Paws Treadmill in November of 2006. When it arrived the wheels and underside was cracked and severely damaged. We tried to turn it on to check the treadmill itself only to find that it would not work at all.

I bought a high-end GE refrigerator about a year ago. Shortly after it arrived, it lost all freon. It took a week for GE to send someone to look at it and offer a diagnosis. When the part arrived a month later, it turned out not to address the problem. It turned out that the unit had been dropped on its side and had a broken part in the back. Do you ever look at you receipt from the grocery store? i usually don't. I will look at the prices of the items i purchased on the register, in case i was charged wrong. Sometimes stores will give you the item free if the register charges you the incorrect price. Then i will look at the bottom line of the receipt for the total sale.
