Because of Hurricane Dean I was forced to end my vacation in Grand Cayman prematurely. I couldn't get a flight on my airline (American Airlines), so I got a seat on Cayman Airways. I was charged $650 for this flight. When I got home I looked on the internet for the 'normal ' prices for Cayman Airways for a flight from Grand Cayman to Miami. The posted price was $232 for a one way flight. Cayman Airways took advantage of me and many other people during a crisis. This is price gouging. I requested a 2007 catalog of Bonny fall wedding dresses. I ordered the disk online early June. With several phone calls, and a ton of frustration, I haven't received the catalog or a refund. Even with several attempts to contact these people no on has been corporative or helpful. This is the worst service I ever experience in years. I had to ask for service on my tractor and it took 2 weeks to get an appointment, which the girl that made the appointment forgot to write it down and the service didn't show up. I then called the services man and was told he had no time available for me. Then i called customer service and they set me up another appointment which was another 2+weeks. ABC APPLIANCE in Sterling Heights, Michigan. We purchased a TV from ABC in 2002. We have a repairman out at least three times in those years to repair what he said was a defect in the lamps. ABC says it is a warranty problem, which expired in June of this year, although, the repairman said that it wasn't a warranty problem, but as previously stated, a manufacturers defect. Alamo Car Rental at the Miami Airport location. 3355 Nw.22nd St. Rd. Miami, Fl 33142 I rent cars a lot and from Alamo. When I say a lot I have hundreds of weekly rentals with Alamo and I use the same location every time. Since I rent so much I do not take the optional insurance, prepay for gas or upgrade the car for an additional fee. Alamo employees make commission when the add on any of the above services. I have a problem that no one seems able to solve. Motorola has lost my I850 phone that I use for a home based business. It was sent to Memphis on a (door to door) service (RMA 22387 & case number 252922) This phone has been sent in for repair four times in less than eight months. I dropped off 2 pairs of pants on Friday evening. When I went to pick them up on Wed morning, the staff there couldn't find it. He told me to come back later which I did. In July I ordered a Wheat & Mixed grass basket, on 7/18, I received the wrong item from them which I returned per their instructions. They will not acknowledge its return even though I have delivery confirmation from the post office. They have not refunded the item, or the postage cost to return the item. I have sent emails to their " customer service" lol. I purchased a new Kenmore washer in Dec. '06. Almost exactly 8 months later, it started smoking, making a grinding noise, and stopped working. Sears says they cannot get a repair person to me until Sept. 6 - over 3 weeks later. I may hire another repair person and present Sears with the bill in small claims court. I am writing this letter to tell about my experience with Expediant Van Lines during my move from MA to PA. I would not want anyone to go through the experiences I have gone through, during a process already difficult per se, i.e., moving. I purchased the LA Futon from this company. The add stated complete futon and showed a beautiful cover... When I received the shipment which was only the shell of the futon. I bought an LG fridge 8/26/06 delivered 8/30/06. The fridge has not been able to make ice for 2 months. Service has been to my house 3 times and replaces parts and still no ice. For 1,800.00 I should be able to have the ice maker work. I called the service department several times and have asked to speak to a supervisor. My husband and I had to file for chapter 11 after my cancer diagnosis 8 months ago. We were told by our lawyer to stop paying our bills and that our claim was being processed. I opened a CD for $25k in the branch in Minneapolis and when I did that I asked the banker a very specific question. Do you have branches in Atlanta. He said yes. I went on a group tour with Go Ahead Tours. We were already in Europe and booked a 5 day Paris excursion. Based on the expensive rate we paid, our expectations were for deluxe accommodations. What we got was a student tour. The hotel was on the outskirts of Paris, so you had to use the Metro (40 minute minimum to town) or a taxi (30 Euro minimum). Bought mower in Dec 2006 online from Amazon.com, but the mower was shipped from a company called "OMyGarden". I didn't use the mower for several months as it was winter, so it had all that time to properly charge. It worked ok the first 5 or so times I used it.
