I placed a layaway in the store on Oct 1, 2007 when Kmart started the $1 layaway and when I received my contract I told the sales person that I would not get paid on the exact payment due date she said oh they wont put it back for just a couple of days. I ordered an arrangement on Monday, November 12 and it was supposed to be "Same Day Delivery". Today is Wednesday and I found out today that my friend did not receive the flowers. I've called the company in Beverly Hills, CA three times and get an answering service that takes your information and tells you that she will send them an email and they will call back immediately. I haven't heard back from them and don't think I ever will. They of course , charged my credit card as soon as my order was placed. I was informed that the product I wanted was in stock; after making the order (and they charge your card immediately) and waiting a couple weeks for the shower arm to arrive, I called customer service - which is consistently a 15 minute wait, canceled the order and was informed that I would see a refund on my credit card within the next two business days. I am complaining about the Salesmen that came to our Senior Apartments, and lied about prices..also, refer a friend, which means you refer a neighbor, and receive a $25.00 rebate, or something like that, which I did and never received a thing.. My truck was totaled in my driveway by someone insured by safeway insurance company. Bought new sectional in July 2007. The recliner has broken twice already. The third time they end the part with no technician, then the technician came with out tools. As of this writing it is not fixed. The worst problem is the cushions from the sleeper side of the sectional comes out after sitting on it for 2 minuts. I signed on with Verizon in December of 03 for web hosting. I again signed contracts in 12/04 and 12/05. On October 27th, 2007, my husband and I went to the nearest Picture Me (Super Walmart) Studio. We had to drive fourty-five minutes to go to this studio, and upon arrival, was told that we would have to wait an hour to an hour and a half, due to appointments. Fine. I purchased a cell phone and accepted the "Device Protection" for $49.99. Come to find out when I tried to make a claim, that this is not insurance from the carrier and in fact a majority of the ways your phone could get lost or damaged are not covered. The real issue is that none of this is explained up front when you make the purchase, it is only referred to under "What Circumstances Are Not Covered" after the fact. Do your research. I applied for credit from Unicorn for LASIK. My terms were 18 months no interest. Well, either they did not disclose or I did not read that if one payment was missed they will add on all the interest for the finance term. I had the entire balance paid up in 6 months instead of the 18 months; however I missed one payment. I did not receive the statement that month. They are a total rip off. They installed the wrong carpet in my house ( 1 room). They gave me 250 off of a 5000 dollar bill. Ordered on 10/01/07. Never received merchandise. All attempts to rectify the matter was met with a run around. I was given a shipping tracking number fro canadapost.ca to track ship and it was invalid. I went several times to their "chatroom" and talked with a Karen, Jen and Maria. Said it was shipped 30 Oct and tho their website said it would take 12 -14 days they changed it to 12-14 days from "shipping date" not order date. Also customer service phone numbers were futile. 93 yo admitted to KP Harbor City via ER. Between the ER and admission, upper plate was lost. Risk Mgt took report. Replacement teeth cost $1295. 93 yo was readmitted with new upper/lower plates.
