What actually happens here is that once you have used Intelius, they send you an e-mail which usually goes straight into everyone's spam folder, since it reads as spam. The company just sent me a notice that I owe them over $130 for a phone bill (Bell Atlantic) in 1997. After reading all these complaints about this company, I am seriously thinking about filing a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and my state attorney general. They offered me a free credit card report which everyone is entitled to, once a year. Then they required credit card info to get it. I did not agree to any of the services offered, but now they tell me by providing the info I agree to a non-refundable contract with a 30 day cancellation requirement. I did not! Fabri-Tex made an unauthorized charge to my credit card in the amount of $2.95. I have never heard of this company or been to their website prior to my learning of their fraud. On November 23, 07 a day after Thanksgiving my car was impounded for abandonment. We were then being charged 160 for towing and 35 per day for storage fees. It turns out they wanted us to pay 350. I was emailed by CREDIT ONE BANK telling me my credit card payment is past due. Payment due date was was Dec. 10, 2007. I sent a check to them on Nov. 20, 2007 whiched cleared my bank on Nov. 27, 2007. I called customer service and spoke to a representative who made no sense. I ordered a new TiVO DVR Monday, 12/10/07. It was delivered Friday, 12/14/07. They even threw in a free wireless connection. Although I have been able t connect two wireless laptops to my network, and TiVO was able to see my network, it was unable to connect. I rented a stackable washer and dryer from Azuma a little over six months ago because of a refural from my appartment manager.
