I have a complaint about workers making appointments to do work in your home & not keeping them. Most people have to take off from work to be there, then they don't show. I'm having such problem. I went with a retail store for kitchen tile to avoid such a pitfall. However it happened to me too. The job started November 12, to be finished (except for around the kitchen cabinets) in 4 days. I purchased something from McAfee 3 months ago using the TELECHECK service on their website. It ended up being the wrong product so they refunded me the money. Well a month later I get a collection notice in the mail saying I owe TELECHECK $87.00. I have been on the phone for the past 2 months trying to sort this out. McAfee has contacted TELECHECK to tell them that the product was refunded and STILL they are harassing me with this. I sent them my bank statement proving that it had been charged and then refunded. Deceptive warranty, and slow service. Made mistake of buying service contract / agreement from GE for microwave and oven, and, after five months, nearly 10 service calls, and mis-ordered parts, etc., they have decided no to fix unit. Instead of replacing model, they offered me the option of purchasing a new model at about $1,500. This seems rediculous as the unit new costs $1,800 at Home Depot. The 2007 Infiniti G35x is a new model of an Inifnit which is supposed to have all these great new features. A new feature they have added is hte Vehicle DYnamic Contorl Stabilization system which is horrible. It has caused me two accidents because it kicks in at the wrong times and does not work correctly. The company offers opt-in email marketing campaigns but cannot delvier them. IN our experience the campaing could not get past the spam filters. I too just experienced their VERY deceptive sales practice. I ordered a DSLR camera "package"...Executive Package to be precise. When I called to verify the order I was informed that the package does not include the battery or charger, and that these were roughly an additional $300 (the scammer/sales rep was very quick and quiet when he said the pricing, and I made him repeat it twice). I had a terrible experience with Northwest Airlines. This is my first time to fly to US and NWA for that matter. From day 1 the agents in Manila cannot get us a good flight to North Carolina and we ended up flying to DC. We drove from DC to NC then. My husband requested a vegetarian meal and it was confirmed by one of the agents but ended up with no vegetarian meal but scrap fruits from the first class cabin. We ordered a MCE Lucid-M8X Portable FireWire DVD-/+R/RW drive from MCE maybe 5 months ago. It took about 6 weeks to get to us and when we finally got it, it didn't work. We worked with the MCE support and tried all of their suggestions, but it just wouldn't work. They finally told us to return it for an exchange or refund, which WE had to pay for. I am a member of the Armed Forces and have rented 3 cars from Enterprise in 3 different cities. My complaint appears to be a systemic problem regardless of location. Enterprise has been in existence over 40yrs. The quality of customer service appears to be on the decline. Living Well Lady Fitness Centers is taking advantage of it's members. They conveniently sent a letter dated November 19th notifying members of a charge of $25 for 'enhancements' to the fitness center. The letter was not received until December 12th, after the fee was debited from my checking account. Their membership contract does not disclose that there may be other charges during your membership, other than those you would expect for services like a fitness coach. We have been customers for at least 10 years and have not missed a payment or deadline. I called on November 27th, 2007 for a payoff balance of our mortgage. Our coupon booklet printed by the bank stated to call for a final balance. I was given an amount and therefore sent a money order to the above address dated the same day as the phone call. When made the appointment, they said that they will take my secondary insurance, the day of the appointment refused and I was not able to wait for another provider, paid $5040 for the procedure, can't get any money back from the billing department. By contract with Blue Cross allowance was $1208, my responsibility is only $208.oo. According tom Blue Cross they have to give me back $4040.00 but medical facility refused. I bought this more expensive electric can opener only about a month ago and now I just want to give it away to some unsuspecting person on Freecycle. It's a piece of garbage that can't open a can in just one cut. Try ten cuts and you may get the can opened enough to pry into it and scoop out the contents. It can't grab the can. The lever with the blade keeps falling off and you have to hold the lever 'just right' to get it to contact the slippery black button switch that runs the motor. I owe money to Key Bank because of some high fees that I was charged. I set up a payment for $50.00 and said I could possibly pay the balance off in 2 weeks. The woman I spoke with said just to call back before the payment date if I needed to change it. I called back two days before that date because I realized there was no way I could pay $345.00. Bought Maytag Quiet Series 300 at Home Depot. Worked okay (takes MUCH more time to go through the cycle than others I've had) but in the past 2 months it hasn't been washing all the dishes.
