StarHub Maxonline

I subscribe to internet service via StarHub called MaxOnline which is the highest level service they have for which I pay $116 per month plus tax. They claim you can get up to 100 mbps on the service and a minimum of 60 mbps. I experienced some serious issues in August where I was getting less than 1 mbps and could not even use the internet service. StarHub made multiple service calls from August through September 2009 and finally my service level came back to an acceptable level. I also found out they gave me the wrong modem when I signed up... read full review »

Location: Sim Lim Square, Unit #02-76. Company: Evolution Gamin LLP. I went shopping for a PSP today and asked for a set with a local warranty. After the set was open and shown to me, I can tell from the SN# label that it was an export set as it ends with "PSP3001". A local set SN# would end with "PSP3006". Also, the warranty card clearly indicates a US address. When I query more about the warranty, the Staff turns aggressive and started using abusive languages. read full review »

DO NOT CALL FOR THEIR SERVICES. Had a leaky faucet. They changed both my faucets, claiming that the cost was $185 (didn't give details at all). After installation, turned around and gave us a 'breakdown' of their charges as follows: 2 x $185 - italy tap (don't even know if this is true) 2 x $65 - some metal tube tat connects the tap to the main water pipes 185 - labour cost (they spent a mere 10 minutes dismantling our old taps and fixing on the new ones) Total = $680 WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!? read full review »
