We purchased a biannual 3br timeshare in 2002 at Westgate Lakes for 11K at one of their sales pitches. Tried to sell it after a couple times of use--- trust us--- there's no resale market! The units are nice but not worth having to pay 850 each time we want to use it; they charge $130 to use a banked week --- and good luck trying to schedule it when you want it. Unfortunately, I've not looked closely enough at my AT&T bill. According to Enhanced Services Billing we signed up for it in June 2005. We have NEVER signed up for it. They say we provided consent through a website but are unable to provide any details. We've been paying about $16 per month which works out to be $500. All they've offered is a 2 month credit. I am billed on a monthly basis. Based on dates on the bill, it is printed on the first of the month, however based on the date on the postage meter it is not mailed until at least the 6th, 7th or 8th. Not a pvoblem... Syracuse University offers an online program that is simply a rip-off. The teacher was virtually absent, the content that was tested was far from the content that was taught and if that weren't enough, the teacher was unfair and unethical in her grading process. I tried to address the issues with program administrators and the dean, however it seems that they only care about enrollment and money- not their students.
