As a RC Hobbier I have researched and used most of the major vendors. A Main Hobbies.com has the largest selection and usually have all of it in stock. Ordering is easy. Delivery is fast and shipping are as reasonable as any. They even offer gift vouchers so I put them on my Christmas list as well. Returns are handled quickly and efficiently. Price was good, shipping was good. Products? Not so. I ordered a Lenmar battery and the Lenman Mach1 charger for my Canon G2 digital camera. Both products came in a package that clearly showed the products were used by somebody else before. The charger box was messed up and all the items inside were disorganized. Ordered on 12/23/08. Paid for overnight shipping ($35 extra charge) as it was a Christmas gift. Received immediate order confirmation via e-mail. Was excited!! Money immediately taken out of my Paypal account. As of 12/30/08 no package, no shipping information, no reply to my attempts to contact 9th tee via e-mail. I would not recommend this company to anyone. After reading multiple reviews (too late, I know), it appears that this company used to be responsible. I just bought a Hofner Icon Bass from the mail order department of 8th Street Music in Philadelphia. The experience was perfect. I ordered the bass online on a Saturday morning. An employee called me on Monday to confirm my billing information and answer a question I had emailed ("is the item in stock?" - it was). They shipped it UPS that day and I received it the next day. Unethical Business Practices. They offer a 110% lowest price gaurantee to make you feel comfortable with ordering, but they make up excuses not to honor it. Like a website that sells to the retail public but has wholesale in its name so they justify it as a membership or club store! I couldn't be happier with the service. Some of the previous posts seem to be accusing of 'penny pinching', but considering the pricing is probably what brought them to the store in the first place, I think penny pinching is the last thing they should be pointing fingers about. I ordered the Canopus ADVC-110 Analog to DV Converter and optional power supply from 4VideoEquipment.com. The site was easy enough to navigate, the ordering process was easy and straightforward, and I received my order quickly and in perfect condition. Oh, yeah, and they had by far the cheapest price I could find anywhere! The only problem I ran into was that the power supply was out of stock. The guys at 4VideoEquipment.com notified me of that fact right away, however, and promptly refunded the difference in purchase price and shipping. Utterly identical to CyberGiftCenter and 4Compu, they don't allow any contact except by email. I emailed them one day after ordering to request a shipping address change. No response. They just list my order as "processing" day after day after day. Then, after a couple of weeks, it ships to my OLD ADDRESS! They never got my email to change shipping address! It ruined my Christmas! I suppose they'll come up with yet another different company name using the same website design and same poor customer service to frustrate more future customers. read full review »

Thought they were great when I found their site. Placed my order on Thursday Dec 18. Paid extra for "express shipping" two days so I would have it for my son's computer on X-mas. Monday, Dec 22, nothing. Called. Gave me some lame excuse that they sent an email that an item was back ordered. An email I never received, and they can't provide me a "property" to show it was sent. Purchased a Cradlepoint CTR350 which is a very nice piece, except that it does not come with battery capability. I had excellent (although unsuccessful -- long story not relevant to 3G) trying to track down a mobile power supply. I ran across this company on one of the coupon websites and checked it out. The reviews on resellerratings.com aren't that good but I love a good deal. So I went through the order process and bought a set of aviator prescription sunglasses. In about 2 weeks I had them. I was pulling my hairs out when my R340 displayed the message "parts reaching end of service life, see manual". As I know these printers are not made to be "servicable", and I am not ready to pay another hundred pounds for a new printer, I was devastated. Thanks to this service program, it took away the warning message and I can continue using my R340 with the CISS. Phew!! Please note that you DO need to redirect the waste ink or replace the waste ink pads or you may risk dealing with an over-spilled printer. A wise investment into this program. Thank you. Have ordered from them for over 2 years, spent several thousand dollars with company, now suddenly, them and their parent company no longer have a working phone number, no longer answer emails, no longer nothing. I am EXTREMELY upset at them. The current charge was small, only 60 bucks, but still, this is ridiculous. Paid for 2 Day shipping. They sent it Fedex Ground. So instead of 2-3 days it's taking seven. Sent a contact via the form on their website since they don't leave any phone number anywhere even on their invoices asking for a refund of the shipping fees. Did not hear back at all. I was a member of the 168 Club for a LONG time, from back when you had to pay $35 "membership fees" for every $2000 of equipment you bought from them. I bought well over $10, 000 of equipment. Sales people were friendly, helpful, and fairly knowledgeable. Tech Support people ranged from very good to ones that probably had problems spelling their own names (but most were fairly knowledgeable). Their prices at one time were the best you could find. Believe the negative reviews on this company. My own experience mirrors theirs including: 1) shipment of a refurbished item when I ordered a brand new one and 2) no delivery of another item (the expensive piece of merchandise) after two delivery dates. These people simply lie and misrepresent to the point where they could only be diagnosed as sociopaths.
