I have been buying from Government Liquidation for over a year now, and have spent well over $10, 000. Most transactions have not been problematic. This company is placing charges on your at&t bill for service that you have not requested. I have never heard of this company and at&t is letting this happen. I received my paperless bill by email and saw that the charges were higher than normal. I called at&t to question and they informed me that they bill for over 200 companies. Form-a-corp will take your money and do nothing in return. I paid them to incorporate my business and file a dba. I paid them in Dec, 08 to do an expedited filing with the state of California which should take 5-10 business days for the state to do. On Sunday afternoon I placed an order for three SAS cables that were listed as in stock on their website that I could not find anywhere else at the time. Order a USB to IDE/SATA Adapter. Item was shipped and arrived 2 weeks later. It didn't work with any of my 2.5" IDE drives. I own a similar adapter that works with all those drives. The reason I bought this was to get the SATA functionality. Clearly the item was defective. Item was only $13. However it costs me $5 to ship it back for RMA. Acortech won't pay for return shipping. Product was ordered 12/22/09. Item was placed on Hold for NINE DAYS to verify address. They never bothered once to call or email. I called this company 12/31/08 expecting at least adequate customer service. I was hung up on the first time. Then transfered to someone who could barely speak English. Very quick email response from sales. Excellent packaging and decent shipping speed. I ordered a 3ware9650SE-8 bulk pack, but the website CLEARLY stated "With cables." I went to purchase a Sony 24" CRT wide screen, and they were more than helpful on setting up both "A" grade and "B" grade monitors for me to look at. I ended up buying the "A" grade, but over the weekend I realized I missed the razor sharp text of an LCD at high resolution (although the game play was unbelievable on the CRT). Ordered Iphone accessory's for christmas gifts. Received email stating one of two items was shipped the other back ordered. My credit card was charged for both items. I never received tracking number. Finally no product arrived so on Dec 22 I called them three times and one live chat with there site. I'm not satisfied with an online company that has a 3 day period for electronic downloads. For a company that states that it relies heavily on technology to satisfy their customers, I'm surprised and disappointed. It appears that this company is selling illegal copies of software. I purchased Photoshop CS4 and installed it. It worked for about a day, and then the software told me my install serial number was no longer valid. I can no longer use the software. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone at Academic File, and they don’t answer emails. They have reviews by satisfied customers, but it is not possible to post any new reviews. Stay away. Absolute Home charged my credit card the day I placed the order. The credit charged showed up on my account as "Home Click." They have very high restocking fees. A wrong item was shipped and it took a week to get a RMA, another week for them to process the order with a new order number, then another 3 weeks to get a status on the shipping. In 1999 I bought components from Aberdeen. In order to return a defective part, I was given an RMA number, I had to buy a replacement, and I wait for credit. I had to dispute a credit card charge in order to get the credit (took over 2 months). In 2006 I bought some memory chips from Aberdeen. It was the first items I bought for a new system, and among the last to be delivered. Their prices were higher than average, and I bought because they agreed to match another vendor's price. They send emails immediately with pertinant information about the sale and it's progress. They immediately respond to emails regarding your order. Was looking to get a Whirlpool AP450 Air Purifier as it was recommended by Consumer Reports and found this place to be the cheapest on the Internet. Beat out Amazon by like $50 or so even. I was going to place the order and found it the same price as the AP510 which had another fan speed, electronic controls, and a sleep mode (was also almost $80 cheaper than Amazon).
