I've been happily using NOMI prepaid for a couple of months since Feb 2011. Now, all of a sudden, I cannot place any calls anymore (I do have lots of credit). Really disappointed... they have charged us 80 working hours for just for... nothing my local developer says its 2 days time job and the way it was done stuff working on it should be really trainee level... Preferred Long Distance, Inc. will tell you they will save you money on their phone service through their phone slamming practice. Once you're on board with them you will pay a lot more than your regular provider and you wont be able to just close your account without you having to figure it all out. I found the solution by calling my old phone company for the procedure. Why didn't Preferred Long Distance help me with this? Because they want to keep billing you and they will. I was contacted by phone in June by David Williams of the above company saying that they were working in conjunction with the debt department to help clear debts. I underwent the process having to pay fees to the credit companies for all the information. However in December the phone was cut off and they were not answering my e-mails. I got hired by Clear and as a rep I had to purchase the modems. I did not want to buy the product and add more to my budget. I have been trying to return my modems for at least a year.
