We signed a contract with Sears for a central air conditioning unit in December, 2005. They sent a contractor to install it in June, 2006. Technically speaking, I should not even call this after sale, because 2 months after paying advance, I am still waiting for the furniture delivery to be completed. Turned microwave on one time without putting something in it. Ran for 30 seconds -everything fine, used it four mores times, fifth time smelled burning and opened it up and there was a quarter sized whole in the back of the microwave. I booked for Gas cylinder delivery on 13/6/2007. Order No. 3700. Time 9:57 AM.It was not delivered till a week. When I visited gas agency they asked for address proof. Several months ago I sent a letter to the Ashley Furniture Industries Inc. Director of Quality. I still have not received any response. The sofa and love seat set I purchased has to be the worst purchase I have ever made. You can feel every piece of wood and metal in the furniture, there is no padding. I have purchased water purifier of eureka forbes on 10 may 2006. After the purchase of the purifier the company person has committed me that after 6 months they will be visiting our place for service and change of carbon, but after 13 months are over no one from the dealer or the company came to my house for change of the carbon. I purchased a front loading samsung washer and dryer in December from lowes and by may 25 th the washer has already stopped working. Fortunately we had no real need for their services for the 3 years that we did utilize them. I bought an item valued at $19.99 on e-bay and paid for UPS shipping. I had no choice as I wouldn't have picked UPS. They are the worst!! Over the past year I have been struggling with the water district in Rowlett, Texas regarding a property located at 209 Point Royal. I have had similar programs with GE Money Bank. I did the Promotional loan on getting carpet. I paid it all in full on August 4, 2006 at 12:20pm. I have confirmation that I paid and they received payment with a reference number. They keep calling saying I have not paid and I get bills for delinquent payments. Home Pride, Inc. in Omaha, NE contracted to put an entire new roof on my home in Earling, IA, after a tornado last year. We paid over $7,000.00 for this (on a relatively small home), and were assured the roof would last for years. The contract showed that Home Pride gave us a one-year warranty. I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher, model GU2700XTSQ from RC Willey a couple months ago. I complained to Whirlpool that my dishes never would dry.
