I have had several issues with this refrigerator. First of all someone in the home didnt close the door all the way and when that happens the refrigrator shuts off. Once this happened the ice began to melt in the ice maker and ran all over my new hardwood floor causing $2K worth of damage. Next thing the water tube that feeds the ice maker ruptured and leaked all over the fl, oor causing damage. Then the drawer slides broke inside and it just goes on from there. read full review »

I am a very dissatisfied customer. We purchased the Kenmore Elite Trio December 2004. We thought this was the best product until we started having to make service calls. We have had to call out service 6 or 7 times to include a major change out of coils and the compressor. Right now the day of Christmas the fridge is leaking and we are waiting for service. I first of all bought a Furnance (heating and cooling for over 5, 000. The first week of having it, it went out, several times, it had to be repaired the first month. The Sears company refused to give me another one even though it was requested several times. The Simmons Palm Cove Queen mattress I received on 11-15-09 is sagging on both sides; I have rotated the mattress as instructed; I am the only sleeper, weigh only 125 pounds. Windows leak air on windy days from day one, so we have to add a space heater in the living room. The former 50 year old single pane windows worked better. Today (Christmas morning) two years after installation, it's windy and rainy and there's water running in all the windows on the windward side of the house. We ordered and paid in full for a 4 poster bed and 3 custom bar stools on October 2nd. We are now at 12 weeks later and still don't have our furniture. We have been given 5 different delivery dates. EACH time I called on the date it was SUPPOSED to be here, it never showed up! EACH time the delivery date has been pushed back 1-2 weeks. The newest estimate would put the delivery at week 15 since the purchase. This despite being told it would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. I booked for an engineer to come and unblock our drains this morning to be told that someone would definitely arrive between 3-4pm. At 4pm I phoned to find out where the engineer was only to be told that he had broken down and had no guarantees that he would even come today! I am furious as this was and still is an emergency. I would expect every company to have a customer service desk that at least calls existing appointments to inform them of the delay. Bought a new Dryer from Sears several months and already had them replace it once as it rattled so bad that you could hear it anywhere in the house. The new one worked for a few months and wouldn't dry clothes any longer. Had Sears repair out and first guy was clueless. Had to call the engineers to tell him what was wrong. I purchased a roof with a 25 year warrenty in March of 1999 and it has leaked since installed. Our ceiling has collapsed twice. I have made numerous attempts to contact Mr.Brewster with no luck or reply. His phone numbers have been disconnected and he uses different business names to hide behind. Mike came out on 11-24 and 11-25-2009 and repaired my roof, so I thought. I went on and had my living room ceiling repaired and when it rained the following week, the roof leaked and messed my ceiling up. I called Mike 3 times. I purchased 800 sf of click lock laminate flooring for $1300. Upon installation and inspection of the product and a consult from a professional installer it was determined that the product was defective. The ends snapped when installed causing the floors to lift and gap. I contacted the company and sent photographs, they replied by saying it was my problem and it must be something we were doing. I have a service warranty from Sears to cover a Maytag Neptune Washing Machine. This company DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO PERFORM CUSTOMER SEVICE ON ANY LEVEL!
