Technician from Acme came to fix the thermostat and for the check up.. A battery was needed, which we supplied.He did not have time to do the check up, but after looking at it said the unit was rusty and needed to be replaced. We gave him a check for $2000, It was cashed immediately. Too late to stop payment. The next morning we cancelled the order, and requested the money be returned.We have called and called, and went down to the office.TO NO AVAIL. I am filing a complaint against Naxpmedia.com This is a site that sells old TV series and sell them on DVDS. If one search Naxpmedia on google you will find yahoo questions the quality of DVDS on this site. One response was that the product was never received and possibly a fraudulent site. XP Antivirus offered an antivirus package for $49.95 and within minutes charged my Visa card $104.00. I had not finished down-loading it and still haven't. They offered full refund of money, if not satified. So far all I get is either their phone is busy or their e-mail box is full. This a complete fraud. I fell for the Penbrook scam yesterday, and yes I too knew better. At least some of you got something. When I got up this morning and still the only thing in my email was a flaky receipt from EZINTERNETINCOME 1.com I knew I was had. Called my credit card company and here is how they handled it. Took my car to express auto due to a check engine light... I new from a prior scan that it was an o2 sensor and asked them to check for a short in the wire... I phoned them at 330 to see if my car was done and was told they were just pulling it in to the shop... I went to pick it up at 5 before they closed and it was sitting out side done...
