I ordered two couches from Wicks Furniture. In the store they were comfortable, light tan, and my feet touched the ground. The one we got... were not the right color, They were hard as a rock, so uncomfortable that I couldn't even sit on it. The recliner didn't work on one side. They will not give a cash refund, they say I have to take an in store credit! They have filed chapter 11 now and I am just out. I just bought this two days before the bankruptcy. When contacted by phone on the availability of an internet advertised camera. Employee kept attempting to add unwanted items to low cost "bait" item. Gold's Gym, Malden MA. It appears just like all other Gold's Gyms this one is in on the "contract" scam. We were given a very long talk by the Gold's Gym "operative" who told us that we would be able to cancel, and we stupidly signed a contract. Now, as we can't stand the Gym with all it's noise and posers we can't get out of the contract. So are we going to end up paying the full 24 months!?! I have an on-line business and have suffered with a few problems form our hosting company, their customer is zero . They have a ticket system and a supposedly on-line tech support but none of them respond , the just close tickets without completing the work. I have run into big problems now trying to change hosts as they will NOT respond to any emails when I ask them for transfer details. I invested with Green Light for about one year. Started with them in Arizona. They were still selling properties when the market had become overdeveloped. Dozens of investors could not sell or rent their properties because they were so many on the market. I found a credit card charge I didn't recognize. Upon following up, I discovered someone else had signed up my card for the service, with their own name! CIC Credit had accepted the charge without matching the credit card number and name on account. This allowed the fraudulent charge to go through. It's a shame when you have an elderly person trying to purchase products online because they cannot travel back and forth to the stores. Thinking that the product is on its way, they credit cards being charged and to never receive the product. How about calling this #877-289-4071, this is the best one to call them on. My husband ordered this and now after calling on the 10th day to cancel they said they have already sent out the month supply. I have even requested to listen to the phone conversation because they say that on the 10th day they will send out the month supply. That seems like bull**** to me. They do not have a phone number to call, the only number I found was for a fax or modem, and they didn't respond to the fax I sent either. It costs more to have the credit charges stopped. This is with regard to my Airtel Prepaid connection number-9897077194. Today i.e. 27th of November 2006, it was my last day including grace period to recharge my number. I went to many airtel dealers who could use the Easy Recharge Facility to recharge my number but they are saying that the Server is down for the whole day and they are unable to do so today. Currently i am on Lifetime plan(monthly recharge of Rs.99) with balance of Rs.395. I want to register my protest and ask the company to take serious and effective steps to refund my balance as it is completely their fault. Last month I had a problem with this company. They sent me a bill charging me a late fee and an added fee after the payment had been made. I have my payments sent by my bank so I was able to go in a get a copy of the check cashed by Continental Finance and email them a copy of the check. Been had. Ordered book on Nov.20, 2007 credit card charged for the book and an "international transaction fee" on Nov.23. As of Jan. 3, no book. Left three emails, tried faxing and left message on only other number provided (1-602-532-7038). Wasn't fast enough to cancel payment, but I cancelled my credit card.
